Well I have to disagree with Hedgehog Most common error, if PLA stops to extrude mid-print and is easy to resume without unclogging the nozzle, it is simply the cold end(Colling fins on top of your hotend) not being cool enough. It ist absolutely neccesary to have a sharp temperature drop between the heatblock and the cold end. Else PLA tends to grow it's Diameter and simply gets stucked, becauby Dancer - Printing
Well... If you never ever have soldered something bevor, maybe you should not start with it on this board - might get completely damaged, if you do not know what to do. I fear best advice would be to find somebody near you, who is able to do the soldering and maybe teach you a little bit of soldering and electricity, cause you might need it in your future. Your Supplier gave you a better RAMPS Board. Because the detachable Socket might - in some cases - have bad conductivity, and so get burned when heating up heatbed. With your fixed connector this is not going to happen.by Dancer - Reprappers
