Just use a 15 pin d-sub connector. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Common method on industrial cnc machines and other automated lines to have a light tower on top that indicates the current state. Benby plexer - General Mendel Topics
You say laughable vinyl tubing but actually it's very good as a z axis motor coupler as it facilitates the drive but offers some de-coupling against wobble which the machined couplers actually increase. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Brass nuts on the z axis lead screws replaceable item as it will wear b4 the threaded rod. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Thanks for that I've ordered some. Benby plexer - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
So I'm building a RepRapPro Mendel from bits and the frame is all done, I have pulleys, ramps, heated bed etc... only things I don't have are steppers and hot end. They sell the JK42HS34-1334A stepper which are 30oz 1.3a 1.8 degree for £10.70 each plus shipping with shipping each motor works out to be £11.30 I have also seen these which are 39oz 1.3a 1.8 degree and they work out to be £10.00by plexer - General Mendel Topics
You don't need a bootloader if you able to program a sketch. What's your vref set to for your motors? Benby plexer - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors

I'm not saying it wasn't heavy but their planning didn't seem to be very good as they appear to have tried to stand it up in several places from the commentary before finally getting it to go, and as someone in the video says it's trigonometry guys or words to that effect. For the height of it it can produce quite narrow things as well so I wonder what objects it's been targeted at building. Beby plexer - Reprappers
Cool the part daddy is huge but who needs to really print complete objects that big? People need to think about the modularity of their designs. Bit silly it took them so long to get it upright it's not rocket science. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Ah ok yes that would be where it would need adjusting then sorry but like I said I hadn't looked at the dxf yes just modify it like you've said. Benby plexer - Laser Cutter Working Group
I don't really see what needs to be converted to cut it from a thicker material the diff is basically the outline to be cut. Benby plexer - Laser Cutter Working Group
Actually these are the ones I have in my ramps: Benby plexer - Reprappers
No reason why you couldn't use a ramps board with no drivers installed just hook up to the step and dir pins from the headers. Benby plexer - General New Machines Topics
Or resize your pics to attach them. Benby plexer - Reprappers
I bought a ramps and 5 drivers from bangood still building my machine but have tested the ramps with one driver and it drove a nema23 motor fine. I'm using a taurino arduino mega as the base device though. Benby plexer - General
Why not just build a different i3 variant or even a mendel90? Benby plexer - Reprappers
I think you'll find the gantry is moving backwards as it does each line it's just the movement is so small and slow it doesn't look like it moves. Benby plexer - Laser Cutter Working Group
Xbox 360 power supplies are so cheap though why not just run 2? 1 for 11a heated bed and one for the 5a supply for the rest of the printer hell buy several then you can use them on other machines and stuff too Benby plexer - RAMPS Electronics
I think it's probably that the atx power supply I have is not up to it I connected the bed thermistor to the position for extruder 1 and then hooked up a heater cartridge to D10 and tried to set the hotend temp which caused the psu to turn off. I grabbed a 12v 4a psu hooked up to just the right hand power input on the ramps board and the cartridge heated up as expected. Will have to get a bettby plexer - RAMPS Electronics
I have a RAMPS 1.4 board coupled to a Taruino classic with marlin configured and uploaded. I can read the temperature from the bed thermistor and if I warm that up with a lighter the temp increases however commanding the bed to heat up does nothing. I have 12v going in to each power connector on the RAMPS board if I measure the voltage between each bed lead and ground I get 11v at each which doby plexer - RAMPS Electronics

Erm just buy one from either of the links posted? Benby plexer - Reprappers
If you have just a mechanical end stop you wire it up using signal and ground if you have 3 or 4 pin mechanical or opto end stops you wire sig to sig, gnd to gnd and vcc to vcc. Benby plexer - Reprappers
read this for the drivers Benby plexer - Reprappers
The jumpers set the micro stepping on the drivers 3 jumpers under each is 1/16 I think check the wiki for ramps. If you only need 4 drivers that's all you need to install. For your power personally I'd cut the barrel off the end and then connect the cables to e ramps board rather than soldering. The reason it says just a positive cable is that there will be grounds connected via the header pinsby plexer - Reprappers
Just to say Adam has printed me these and some other bits I asked for and the pictures look great and I'm sure they'll be good when I receive them top lad. Benby plexer - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
