Hi guys, Looking to get 1 of each of my designed parts printed in PLA. and Thanks Benby plexer - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
I've seen products that use a surface mount usb port like this but that have a small block of plastic bolted over the socket so that it can't be ripped off. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Eurgh look at the picture showing the connections to the melzi board and those twisted connectors. Benby plexer - Reprappers
maboo well it would be worthwhile as they've already given him a full refund and let him keep the faulty part. Benby plexer - Reprappers
If you bought a complete kit they should be included so ask the supplier to send you some ? Benby plexer - Reprappers
Do a wider skirt or add a raft or even some gcode at the beginning to lift slightly and do an extrude to re-prime the hot end before it starts printing. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Sure just set bed temp to 0 in your slicer Benby plexer - Reprappers
I have 1 x StepSyn 103H7124 2.4A 1.8V and 1 x AstroSyn 23KM-C112-03 2.3A 1.8V steppers looking for around £50 the pair plus postage. UK postage only. Benby plexer - For Sale
If you have a heated bed you need to level it when it's at temperature and check level when it's at temperature. It's no good doing it when it's cold heat makes things expand. Benby plexer - Reprappers
The black ones are just normal 2.54mm terminals as an example but you need the housings with the correct number of slots. The white ones are molex connectors. Benby plexer - General
The single colour board is the main board and should be used for the first hot end and extruder, the other board is the slave board for the additional hot ends and extruders. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Where did you get them from? where they not labelled? Benby plexer - Reprappers
Both boards are exactly the same for the tricolour with multiple extrusion heads one board is run as a slave controller. Benby plexer - Reprappers
I'm slowly getting all the parts to put together a RRP TriColour Mendel. Would these steppers be any good: I'm in the UK so the shipping from Germany is a bonus. Benby plexer - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Have to disagree I use hairspray and it works great. Benby plexer - Reprappers
I started to use just 2 clips as far apart as possible on my machines. Although I like the kapton tape idea and have just secured the bed on one machine with tape on 2 sides. Benby plexer - Reprappers
I run OctoPrint on the Raspberry Pi on both my mendels, this gives you web accessible monitoring and even a webcam feed. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Yup my printer is at work so I often leave it printing when I've finished for the day. Have also done 48+ hour prints. Benby plexer - Reprappers
uncle bob: They expand ptfe tube when it's heated it then returns to its original size. Benby plexer - Reprappers
If you are talking about a RepRapPro kit then yes they provide a piece of ptfe heatshrink for insulating the thermistor that goes through the heater block. It does shrink but needs a high heat source such as a butane torch or hot air station which is what I used. If you used normal black heatsrhink it's going to smell and melt and be a big mess when you use the machine. I've just replaced a thby plexer - Reprappers
* Relocate the extruder assemblies to move the stepper motor bodies up and outside of the main frame of the printer to increase usable space. Contemplating rotating them 45-90 degrees forward and modifying the mounting clips to raise them and hold them in place above the frame Yup that's a simple fix lots of people have done with a few bracket designs to help with this on thingiverse incuding myby plexer - General Mendel Topics
Maybe one of these. Benby plexer - 3D Scanners, Book Scanners, and Optics
IE10 give me a list of corrections when I right click on a misspelt word. Benby plexer - General
Doesn't sound at all normal. I start off with 220 max for my pla and drop it to 210 after first layer. Benby plexer - General
Ok that's cool wasn't sure will reprint it as the one I printed also filled over the bottom too for some reason. Benby plexer - Tantillus
£30 for KG of 1.75mm PLA you're having a laugh.by plexer - For Sale
Is it supposed to look like this or have I got it wrong? Benby plexer - Tantillus
Can't drill it out it's supposed to have a nut trap in the bottom too? Benby plexer - Tantillus
