Printed this last night from the metric version but also checked the stl for imperial and metric version in netfabb studio this morning. There doesn't appears to be a hole all the way through for the threaded rod to pass through? I could drill it out but? Benby plexer - Tantillus
I had no problem with faberdashery filament sticking directly to glass cleaned with acetone. I then switched to a cheaper brand of filament and it just would not stick no matter how clean it was, hairspray worked though so I've stuck with it. Benby plexer - Reprappers

You also seem to think that what you managed to achieve was quite easy and that lots of people must have done it. TBH I cannot think of a simple or easy way to end up with a ripped off usb port. Benby plexer - Controllers

What slicer you using? Scli3r has an option to complete one object before moving on to the next so if you added a small sacrificial object as well as your main object that would do it. Benby plexer - Reprappers
For the RepRapPro machine there is no different mendel to build you build it as a single filament and can add the others whenever you like. Both the current tri colour mendel and the previous model look to be the same in terms of building and possibly easier with the new one as the guys do like to enhance their designs as they go. looks to be another option not quite as cheap as reprapworld but shipping is reasonable. What's reprapworld shipping like? Using a European supplier means you won't be liable for any import duties. Benby plexer - General
