I, too, have tried several things to make the prints stick tight enough so that they do not warp but not too tight so that they won't come off. Still trying...! I'd like to query the people reporting their results here, to clarify if the reported bed temperature is measured on the glass (top or bottom surface) or the thermistor on the heatbed. I say this because currently I'm printing on a 2mm gby ardia - Reprappers
Hello, I'm an electronics engineer for about 20 yrs, and I'd like to add my view on 2 issues. 1. Power output Given that the new designs with a heated bed and (possibly) multiple extruders need a lot of current, please note that ATX power supplies usually cannot deliver the full wattage over a single connection (the 20pin ATX connector). This why there is also the extra 4-pin +12V connector on tby ardia - Next Wave Electronics Working Group

@JazzyMT Hi, I've not yet found the time to change the firmware. The issue has been somewhat diminished (not eliminated!) by using SFACT. I think it is easier to tune than Skeinforge. If you want I could pass you my settings for SFACT to see if there is any impovement in your setup. What certainly helps, at least the z-step extra material, is to set the clipping to a higher value (I use 1.25) andby ardia - Printing
Another thing that might help to keep temperature up is to print a skirt that is several layer high. See Nophead's blog:by ardia - Printing
Hello, We are 4 friends in Athens. We have built a Prusa (1st version) that works, and we are trying to trim it to the best quality possible. We can print parts and we are printing improvements over the "stock" model (linear bearings etc). We've also printed some designs of our own -- see pics for samples. Quality is improving all the time as we learn how to use it. We are currently using SFACT oby ardia - Greek RepRap User Group, ελληνική ομάδα χρηστών
Hi all, I've recently completed my Prusa build (thanks to nophead for the super plastic parts!!) and today it was completed with a heated bed. I tried to tune Skeinforge (the latest version, "help->Version" shows 11.12.19). I went from what is seen here: to here:. To get to the second result, I reduced the amount of material deposited by increasing the feed rate (keeping flow rate constant)by ardia - Printing
