I've always been interested in electronics and the past year I've finally been able to really start to learn it. Note: see last paragraph for short answer. If you wanted to add a heated bed you'll not only need a seven switch, but also an additional thermistor to monitor the bed's temperature. Thus this is what we need to get off of the board in order to get this to work: 5V+ (for thermistor) Gnd (for thermistor and Seven Switch) Analog Input (thermistor) PWM output (Seven Switch) Note: PWM stands forby Partier SP - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
If the 12V connector is properly soldered to the board, you may actually have a problem with the power supply's connector (the female end), or with the actual connection its self. Have you tried using a different socket from your power supply?by Partier SP - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Have you made any progress on this problem yet? You may want to check your end of line command. The machine may be recieving the commands but not exicuting it since it doesn't know if the end of the command has been reached yet or not. Depending on the machine's controller, it may be expecting an ASCII 10 (LF) or ASCII 13 + ASCII 10 (CR + LF). You may need to change your line to append \n toby Partier SP - RepRap Host
