I'm away from the printer right now, but I downloaded the newer version and looked it over in Arduino, apart from a range on new features, the variables seemed similar to what I had uploaded to the board. Yes, M119 showed H when i manually pushed the switch down. EDIT: unfortunately I could not get the AVR or the DUE version to compile, i attached the error message Quoterepetier No, 0.83by threemicrons - Repetier
Hello, I made the host setting changes for the printer. Set the x and Y axis to 0 and z to MAX. I could not find the development version, but i assumed the 0.83 version is the same. I changed the PINS.H so MIN pins have -1 and MAX pins have 0,1 and 2(X,Y and z respectively). In firmware I also set the MIN HARDWARE ENDSTOP to false, leaving MAX HARDWARE ENDSTOP to true. After this I uploaded firby threemicrons - Repetier
Hello, I am currently finishing my 3D delta printer, modeled along the lines of the original Rostock. I am running into some very strange problems and I am not sure how to fix them. They are driving me insane, because im 100% sure there is a very simple solution. I am using GEN 7 1.5 board, Repetier host(0.90c) and firmware(0.83). The machine works quite nicely when i manually center the hotendby threemicrons - Repetier
Hello, I've searched for fishing line spool system setup and while I've found a few that show how to do it mechanically, I haven't found things that show how its done whitin the firmware. So my spool diameter is 14.2mm and I have 0.35mm fishing line with 100 pound pull strength. I'm trying to figure out what the pulley teeth and "belt" pitch should for for fishing line. If somebody helps me,by threemicrons - Repetier
EDIT: I accidentally unplugged my +12v and +5v molex extender thus cutting power to my steppers. after i reattached it, the steppers sprang to life. QuoteMeMadMax Check to make sure you got power at the stepper drivers. Do you mean by using a multimeter? Or is there a different way to check?by threemicrons - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
EDIT: it turns out that I'm and idiot - what happened is that I accidentally unhooked the +12v and +5v molex pins extender thus cutting power to the steppers themselves. After reattaching it, the steppers sprang into life. Quoteuncle_bob To put it simply, none of your motors run no matter how you try to run them. Is that correct? Hello, I just had an issue with the MCP 2200 which got resolved(needed to update Win XP sp2 to Win XP sp3). I can upload firmware and monitor everything well. QuoteMeMadMax Try this microsoft KB. thanks, I checked it and also updated to Service Pack 3 for XP, after that i got the MCP2200 chip to work.by threemicrons - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Hello, I'm currently finishing my third delta printer and hit a very strange error - i cannot get my backup laptop to communicate with MCP2200. My main laptop has Win 7 OS, 64 bit. There I got the whole board working with some troubles but nothing too bad. Because i'm on my backup, I assumed it would work easier, since its 32 bit XP, but unfortunately it did not. Hey Traumflug, I tried fireing up the machine again and unfortunately it's still not working. The firmware uploads fine, but when using pronterface or repetier host, neither can turn the psu on. I tried loading a job and trying to force it to run, but unfortunately that did not help either. I read at a different thread that the L1 coil can cause problems in earlier versions(1.4.1), can it be a cby threemicrons - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Repetier, thanks for the information! I'll do a switch tomorrow and update with the results. I'll hijack this thread for a second and also ask - do you have any idea why my other machine(regular reprap printer) using same controller and software is moving both x and y axis at the same time in some situations? Thanks!by threemicrons - Repetier
Hello, I have a problem setting up my delta printer. I'm using Repetier 0.82, Gen 7 1.5 with 20mhz 1280ppu, deltaprinter configuration and gen 1.3.1 endstops. Firmware works, host software works, and the steppers are moving the axes nicely. When i load up the host program(0.90C), i can load a model, slice it and make it do it's stuff. However when i try to home it, it does nothing. I have trieby threemicrons - Repetier
Hello, I'm currently setting up my two machines(one delta and one regular cartesian). The problem I seem to be having is that when i upload firmware and start pronterface or repertier host software, is that when i tell the X-AXIS motor to move, usually the Y-AXIS motor moves too. I also noticed that happening with the delta firmware configuration. I'm currently using repetier 0.81, GEN 7-1.5 cby threemicrons - Controllers
When i uploaded teacup, calculated all the steps per meter etc, all the motors would do is twitch a little bit when using pronterface, repetier or repsnapper. It may be possible that I have wired my motors up incorrectly - but has the wireing schematic changed since version 1.4.1? I used this schematic to wire all my things up - . Why i doubt the wiring can be the problem, because the gen 7, 1by threemicrons - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Hello, i'm having trouble with Gen 7 electronics, V1.5. What i can do and have done: - setup.ino - works - uploading firmwares - works - tried arduino 1.03, 1.04 and 1.05 - works - tried marlin - partially worked - tried repetier - partially worked - tried teacup - did not work - tried marlin for delta - almost worked(needs configuration) I tried using the repetier and pronterface host sby threemicrons - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Hello, it seems that getting electronics in the EU is becoming very difficult, Mendel-parts.com is not answering any emails or phone calls. After ordering and paying for 4 Gen-7 kits from Traumflug, I havent seen any kits and answers are few and too far apart from him. Please recommend a site or a person(you can recommend yourself) and the type of electronics(or kit) you have to offer. My machby threemicrons - Wanted
