Hello owism8 Unfortunately we cannot release our findings in the near future. The reason is that they will be a part of our Master thesis. But from your description of your project, you may benefit from knowing that we will be publishing a conference paper with the title: “An Open Source Hardware-based Mechatronics Project: The Replicating Rapid 3-D Printer” This paper describes the how the RepRaby MichaelT - General

We are three guys from University of Southern Denmark are currently working on their master thesis ‘Commercialization of Open Source Product Development’. We hope that you will help us to fill out our survey - it will take maximum 5 minutes. It is mostly regarding the motivation for participating in open source projects. Yes it is but what about the missing parts on the BOM list?by MichaelT - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Hey I was looking for information about the generation 6 board, but all I found was eagle files and an incomplete BOM list. Does anyone have the gerber files and a complete BOM list? Someone must have it since the board is released under GPL v2.. Cheers Michaelby MichaelT - Next Wave Electronics Working Group

I don't have a heated bed, actually I'm using a plexiglas plate covered with the tape. This works really well. Just don't know why. But yes it might have something to do with the surface of the tape.by MichaelT - Plastic Extruder Working Group
As the subject line shows, why does this painter's tape work? I've tried others but only this one worked. Why? Does anybody know? As far as I could feel when touching the tapes was that Scotch was a bit more "dry". p.s. I'm printing with PLAby MichaelT - Plastic Extruder Working Group
So far I have used it with ABS400 and PLA ver. 2, and so far it seems to be working.. The main reason for this redesign was the bad description on the Wade's geared extruder page. Couldn't find the description of how to make the pressure part. That is why I designed my own..by MichaelT - Plastic Extruder Working Group
Had the same problem when using so high temperatures. The problem is that PFTE loses its mechanical properties at around 250. My solution is to make an extra braket. See link:by MichaelT - General
Well can tell you that it works, the principal is just different then the one you have. Instead of using ballbearings and rods you only need this one part.by MichaelT - Plastic Extruder Working Group
What do you mean by I have a BAD STL file??by MichaelT - Plastic Extruder Working Group
When I was part of a Mendel build we decided to use Wade's extruder. We printed all parts but found that we needed something to pressure the filament into the hobbed bolt. As far as I remember it didn't say how to do this, so we decided to make our own pressure block. It can be seen on the picture. So far it has worked as it should. Here is the STL file Or you can look at the forum on NordicReby MichaelT - Plastic Extruder Working Group
