Edit: I figured out the issue. I disabled some features I wasn't using such as LCD feature controller and the ticking is gone. I bought a ramps-fd from geetech. (I couldn't find any in the US). I'll definitely wait and get the next release board when it becomes available. For now I am playing with this one. Quoterepetier First make sure you have the latest version from yesterday where I fixed some due issues. Then the default boards use a I2C eeprom on the connected board. If you have no such board it will wait for ever for the i2c connection, so disable eeprom usage. Which i2c eeprom board are you using? Something like this?

Repetier 0.91, Arduino Due and RAMPS-FD - 12 years ago

Does the current ARM version of repetier 0.91 support the RAMPS-FD boards for the Arduino Due? In the firmware config I only see these options. RAMPS-FD-> ( ) I know what RADDS is so I guess I am asking is 401 for RAMPS-FD? If not I'll create a new mapping for it. //// The following define selects which electronics board you have. Did you ever get this figured out? I have the same vertical banding in a delta printer and I have never been able to fix it. What kind of extruder/hot end are you running? I am running j-head with a geared extruder simlar to what makergear uses. Controller is rambo. As I have the same banding as you with Delta I think that rules out belts as a cause as you wouldn't see the same pattern.

I have the same issue with openscad and windows 7 64bit...it doesn't make a difference whether I am running outlook or not. I hope they fix this as it is annoying. I need to reboot to fix it...then eventually it will happen again.
