The Polar3D printer is primarily a Wifi enabled device accessed via our Polar Cloud software. (We also support open source packages like Repetier-Host, Cura and Pronterface and even non open ones like Simplify3D via standard USB connections as well.) Printing in the center is possible... it's just that it is less efficient to do so. Think about this... if you print in the center, then any movement passing through the center requires that the build plate to rotate 180 degrees, but if you move that same part towards the edge, then it only has to rotate a few degrees.
