feed the filament through a ptfe tube of 3mm inner diameter.... it will solve the issue... also it would be much better if you turn your roll around 90 degrees to reduce stress on the filament...by ekaggrat - General

sadly have been using a clone for the last one year... prints abs without problems but needs a lot more pressure to extrude than a standard j-head...by ekaggrat - Mechanics

@hanelyp the springs dont work .. i have already tried that @piercet by far the most innovative idea i have heard of... will try it soon and keep you posted .. if it works i will be damned...have been trying since last two yearsby ekaggrat - Let's design something! (I've got an idea ...)

just connect the enable, direction and step pins from the ramp board to the corresponding pins on your driver board... also if possible try to look for a tb6560 based driver board as this driver based on the l297 and l298 is outdated and will not give you quality prints as it only supports 1/2 stepping and you need a minimum of 1/8 stepping for a decent print , also your printer will be very noisby ekaggrat - Developers

okay after lot of breaking my head did a check on the extruder motor pushing the filament.. it turns out that there is a variation in the amount of filament pushed... i ran a test to push the filament 50mm and the actual length pushed varies randomly by 5-8 mm.... any ideas whats causing it...?? the motor driver is set to 1/8 steps and it is a generation 4 electronics motor driver... also checkby ekaggrat - Reprappers

my z artifacts have gone from near perfect from the object on the left to the object on the right.. I know it is some kind of flow rate issue but cant seem to figure it out ... checked the extruder steps twice... checked the pid tuning of the hotend... but cant seem to get it ... The only thing i changed was the linear bearing on the z axis and the extruder main gear as it had snapped on the axisby ekaggrat - Reprappers

hi i have been trying to compile the latest version of marlin with sd card and ultipanel turned on for ramps... but it keeps giving a error ... Any idea what am i doing wrong... i have been using marlin since last 1 year but now i was trying to upgrade to the latest version to get the babystepping feature.. but it keeps giving a error on compile... with the ultipanel turned off it compiles fine.by ekaggrat - Firmware - mainstream and related support

i made a cheap heating plate using silicon heating wire the same used in heated blankets ...I run it at 220v using a solid state relay..and it is glued using kayton tap on the bottom of a now defunc mk2 heater pcb... heats up to 110 degrees in 10 minutes and works like a charm.....by ekaggrat - Developers

the formulas should be as follows : 1°- angB=180-Acos((L1^2+L2^2-sqrt(x^2+y^2))/(2*L1*L2)) 2°-ang2=Asin(y-(sin(angB*L2)/L1) 3°-ang1=angB+ang2 but even with this the solution fails when angB > 90 degrees .. so i think this approach might not workby ekaggrat - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
