hi gomez.. thanks for the great solution ... I just couldn't understand what ang is? is it ang B ? assuming it is ang B i plugged the formulas into a excel and it doesn't seem to give a solution ... I think something is wrong....by ekaggrat - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
hi gomez thanks for the reply,,, the arm looks like this : and the working diagram is like this : i would be very grateful if you could provide me with a solution.. I am not a expert at this things... thanks againby ekaggrat - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
hi, i am building a small robotic arm based on the parallel scara design ( some thing like the morgan ) , but i can't seem to find the equations for the inverse kinematics of this design... I know the equations for a serial scara robot.. Does anybody have any idea where i could find them ? Or any links to them thanksby ekaggrat - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms

i had bought a prusa i2 in 2012 from weiztek ,,,, and their kit was crap ... parts put together from here and there ... the extruder was a mk6 ... the electronics were generation 4...... so you have to be careful with all these suppliers as their quality is not always good and the after sales service is useles.... they try to help you a lot but the person online has very little knowledge.... i eby ekaggrat - General

try sanguish ,,, it can power motors upto 2 amps and also it is cheap..... or you can use cheap tb6560 driver boards from china in combination with ramps......by ekaggrat - Reprappers
i had the same problem with one of the batches of black abs i got...... the manufacturer had added something to it to make it flow more easily but because of that it would sag a lot... try reducing the temperature and also reduce bridge flow rate....by ekaggrat - Reprappers
i tried compiling the new marlin .... but it gives a error with the ultipanel enabled ... my last version was from july and it works fine ..... one more roadblock.....by ekaggrat - Reprappers
@uncle_bob Actually the feed rates and acceleration settings don't somehow apply when using the rotary switch.... That is what the problem... it is driving me crazy... i want to use the printer without my laptop but this issue is not letting me do it...by ekaggrat - Reprappers
@uncle_bob thanks for the great explanation.... i think i am not posting my question clearly... my stepper drives are set for 16x and all the feed rates are okay when the printer is printing either from usb or from the SD card.... that is not the issue... the problem comes when i try to move my z axis using the lcd's digital encoder ( click knob ) .... that s when the z axis start skipping....by ekaggrat - Reprappers
yes but these feed rates define the way the printer prints..... but when you are jogging the printer using the lcd and rotary switch the feedrate differs and it makes the z axis skip steps....by ekaggrat - Reprappers
i recently changed one of my axis ( z axis ) stepper driver to a thb7128 driver board... the printer has been running fine for quite some time now.. the problem i am facing is that i am not able to jog the axis using the lcd module... the x and y axis jog fine but the z axis just misses steps ... i there somewhere where i can change the feed rate of the z axis in marlin for the lcd ? i cant seby ekaggrat - Reprappers

hi, i have a functional prusa i2 ... use the parts from the github metric section.... and for the x ends use the followingby ekaggrat - Reprappers
i was trying to print this small gear in slic3r and used a lot of different settings and kept getting gaps..... Just for trying i used cura to slice the gear using exactly the same setting as slic3r .... vola much better print... the one in cura is on the left and the one on the right is done in slic3r 0.9.10b. layer : 0.25 nozzle 0.4 abs white perimeter 2 infill 50% picby ekaggrat - Reprappers
there is no solution to electical noise... one way or the other it will interrupt the print... best way is to print from a sd card... believe me i have had this problem and came to the sd card after changing almost 10 usb cbles , ferrite cores ... two power supplys .... etc etc etc....dont waste your time just get a sd card.....by ekaggrat - Developers

the blade are made of aluminum and they dont touch each other... only the first and last blade need to be fixed to two concentric axis so that they can be rotated ... the other blades should be kept between these two blades somehow... that is what it challenge is!!by ekaggrat - Let's design something! hi, i am a architect/designer and work in beijing. Me and my friend won the red-dot award in 2010 for a clock clock which by now is well know... I have been developing the mechanism of the clock for the last 2 years.. I have developed most of the electronics and the base mechanism of the clock... but i am stuck with not having a good mechanism to keep the blades equidistant while functioning..by ekaggrat - Let's design something! the j-head replicas from china are crap... i personally use one and the pressure needed to extrude a 1.75 mm abs filament is almost the same as 3 mm which is ridiculous.. I will be changing soon to a original MK V or a E3d.... this is one thing you should put your money in....by ekaggrat - Controllers

i am using marlin with bed in bang bang mode.... and also i have a diode across the relay.. this setup was working fine before for a 12v bed .. but the problem started when i switched to a 220v bed....by ekaggrat - Reprappers
i mean the heated bed is 200 w and is running on 220 volts..... my rest of the printer runs on 360 w 12v led power supplyby ekaggrat - Reprappers
hi,, i have a prusa i2 which had a pcb heated bed uptill now which was running ok with only a problem of the bed not heating above 60 degrees because of the resistance of the bed being a bit high,,, So i switched over to a mains powered 200w bed recently.. I connected the bed to the ramps board using a dpdt relay.. the bed works like a charm reaching 130 degrees c in 10 minutes ... but the probby ekaggrat - Reprappers
