heres a small video with the paneldue and test auto calibration i know the tapes not perfect but i getting glass and i have matt black printbite for the surface mini kossel 1st run using paneldue from chris kearsley on Vimeo.by chris33 - Delta Machines
Well it has been a very long journey this mini kossel, from changing the electronics and the arms and going through three sets of arms, so the update i had a issue with the movement of the mini kossel when i was trying to use auto calibrate to test the ir sensor, it was moving not plane to the bed it would rise at certain points and it really baffled me why. So i tried different settings in the fby chris33 - Delta Machines
if your getting a bowl shape or dome shape adjust your delta radius slightly until its flat in the middle, watch thism666 manual calibrationby chris33 - Delta Machines
i print a rim or out line around 4 loops and around 1-2mm away from part if i am doing abs i have the rim attached to the part for more bed adhesionby chris33 - General
Well back on the mini kossel build, its taken me ages as lost interest for a while, but now i am back on it, i've replaced the mag effector for a traxxas ends as the effector wasn't stable enough but i thing that was because i should of had the balls on the effector and the magnets on the arms. i got a it sensor and a paneldue 7i and heatbed and printbite, so nearly complete just have to print soby chris33 - Delta Machines
Here we have a ramps 1.4 with three stepper drivers, lcd panel and a mks sbase v1.2 (smoothieware compatible) with mks tft 32 £35 P&P inc These was working last time i tooke them of my machineby chris33 - For Sale
I have for sale mini kossels arms with metal carriages and effector magnetic. The arms are 215mm from ball centre to ball centre. £35 thats with P&P includedby chris33 - For Sale
you get rid of movement with traxxas ball ends with springs and i switched 1 not because of the k800 magnet cup system it would print and stay put but wasn't confident it would stay on going faster at far points of x or y axis 2. i wanted at 1st a mini kossel i could change the head to different tool, like i said the only reason why at 1st i chose magnet system. but im not having it as a multi puby chris33 - General
you can get different strengths cup and also think a mag sytems ok for aplications such as being able to swap tool heads easy even your picture lykle show your holding the tubing and that using a draw string to take the relief off the effector, as i know myself at far distance it will fall of,also i want to go at speed and it may be a personal approach but i would be more mind at ease that nothinby chris33 - General
no it doesn't a magnet is a magnet depends on the strength og the magnet you use, even you use a draw string to hold your effector onby chris33 - General
im changing my mag ball system to a traxxas ball end as the filament as im using 3mm tends to knock the arms off, possible solution would be to go down to using 1,75mm as it isn't as stiff or hold the tube filament pfte tube with one of those draw string,by chris33 - General
the hole spacing for them to fit on the rollers i mean the 4 holes what distance are they apartby chris33 - For Sale
ill gave the dc42 probe 10 inc p&p if u can honour it till wed for payday, oh its me whos bidding on the carriages on ebayby chris33 - For Sale
wasn't too mandatory i filled it if thats any helpby chris33 - General
how much you after the delta carriages i get paid 26th are they 20 x 20 hole spaceing?by chris33 - For Sale
fusion 360 if anyone uses it turn of capture history then convert mesh to brep then goto the patch panel and use the merge function, it may not merge all triangles but give you planes too work with, or trace it in fusion 360by chris33 - General
yes thats why the mod fora bowden with out much expense would be flying extruder shorten the tube distance between the extruder to hotend, never thought of doing thatby chris33 - Delta Machines
wondered when the plug would come lol you can get rid of slop in the arms if using traxxas ball ends with springs attached to arms, magnet sytems ok if you can get good strong magnets, there are small direct drive motor extruders for deltas, also you could shorten the bowden by having a flying extruder, also the flex3drive which is established and then the nimble i have no commercial links to eiby chris33 - Delta Machines

ikcl i think you all out of order trying to guess what mutley used for his gears im sure that does infringe anything they have set up between them with the license agreement, please could you stop using mutleys gears into any comparison to the zesty nimbles please as they not the same. ikcl they dropped the gear ratio to make a smaller gear to make it smaller but have not seen no clean prints frby chris33 - CoreXY Machines

just a point is the printer configuration correct in pronterface for z home postionby chris33 - United Kingdom RepRap User Group
Ok Rgn its not about rubbishing anything my point has been all along as they have not given any attribution to where they derived it from, next the development into that type of extruder has not been completed by them all they have done is reversed engineered the drive system, and lowered the gear ratio to make it smaller, only 12 months they was developing the nimble upto there kickstarter, andby chris33 - General

if its pla use a layer fan, but you also looking like your printing too hot and too much material, i would look at calibrating your extruder, what temps, material you printing?by chris33 - Printing
Just a standard size mgn12 i used of my mini kossel and on that there won't be as much load on the bearings as a gantry style printer so i would find out how much load your gantry will put on the bearings as mgn9 might be out of spec also prob fitting to 20x20 extrusion might be a issure but i have not looked into the size of smaller rail then mgn12. there is actually a mod on the ulitmaker toby chris33 - Extruded Aluminum Frames
