well i have mine running at 12v and mine seem ok but I'm use to noise working with cncs all day but i believe its noiser at 24v, theres a mod im sure there is if you google it changing the decay modeby chris33 - Controllers

I thought I would get some better pictures the front plate is temporarily fix in still, a bit to do yet I need to drill into the effector for 3 brass inserts to be installed so I can attach some hook eye bolts, for the mod to keep the effector attached the hardest obstacle will be the carriages and a part to go on them to attach the spring and braid, as the belt slightly covers a bolt so mayby chris33 - Delta Machines

yes I was thinking about the staying on power with the setup I'm using without the arms falling off but i have a contingency i will end up basically trying braid and a spring from my effector to the carriages nothing will fall off then lolby chris33 - Delta Machines

The TFT would be ok, if it was more functional than eye candy, don't get me wrong I have a tft32 but there is a lot more they could add to it to make it nice and useful. A mini keyboard for one as you could submit g-codes manually so for instance on a delta I did a G32 or changed a setting I could M500 from the screen in standalone, also the report back the result of calibrations toby chris33 - Controllers

it looks to me but ain't no expert layer change retraction so i would try see what your retractions like and also see what its like on different layer starting position settings.by chris33 - General

It has been a slow progress as now I own a duplicator 4s so I have been trying to get that up to scratch to print parts for the kossel, i have the probe fitted to the fan shroud of the hotend i need to rewire it to nc and not no as I followed the kossel wiki for the wiring the mechanical switch for the probe and not the smoothieware wiki as smoothie wiki says nc, anyway here are some picturesby chris33 - Delta Machines

none of the lights will light up proper untill you have flashed it with the firmware, also install ftdi driver so your usb can see the board. Those leds with red arrows pointing to them work when the heater is on of fan which ever connector is turned on, they just flash as it's got no firmware to instruct what to do. you shouldn't need your windows to see it to get firmware on just upload the firby chris33 - Controllers

if you M302 G1 E100 F2400 that will feed 100mm of filament if your e steps are calibrated correctly only thing above is the feedrate you may have to adjust it to suit your setupby chris33 - Reprappers

wetsparks if your having endstop issues use smoothieware-edge firmware, the mks sbase is pants I had an issue with them not reading them being triggered, so flashed it with smoothieware=edge all good afterwardsby chris33 - Controllers
