hello im trying to solve a issue im having wondedring if anyone can tell me what is happening when I try to print my first couple layers seem to me very messy and large gaps between filament then after the first couple layers it is fine what im noticing is the hot end is further away from the bed at these layers is that normal

hello im having problems mounting the y axis to my box frame im using rod lengths stated in the wiki but no matter witch way i place the bed (motor facing outward or inward) it doesn't want to slide far enough to utilize the whole bed when attaching the extruder im just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem if so how do you solve this i noticed if i mount the extruder on the x carria

Hello I'm starting to build a prusa i3 box frame I managed to come across some nice 15mm Baltic birch plywood just wondering if it will work I know the plans call for 12mm
