Volunteer admin time tends to come in clumps, so at times messages may look like they're ignored, but we get to it as we can. A few new admin-types were recently added, so things should be looking up.
I've been attacking the wiki/forum software, bringing everything up to current version. The forums are current as of a few weeks ago, and progress is being made on upgrading Mediawiki to 1.21.1

Both of these prints are miles better than your previous examples. It makes sense that the 0.2mm layer /60C bed print looks slightly worse, as the slower cooling of the layers can contribute to the slightly 'sloppy' looking corners.
The interesting questions now are why the 60C has that inconsistent banding, while the 20C does not. It's certainly not the traditional bent-threaded-rods Z-wobble

This last culprit was a handful of different IP's, but all using a browser-id string that doesn't get used by any legitimate browsers. I suspect some kind of buggy download manager.
In any case, they gave up shortly after I removed their access to the file they kept requesting.
cheers,

More updates, discovered some rogue web clients repeated reloading a large file.
Stopping these hits reduced the outbound wiki bandwidth by somewhere around %25.
The reprap.org server is looking happier each week.

Leaking from screw-on nozzles isn't a given. Admittedly the nozzle that I've DIY'd have seeped a little, but I'm a lousy machinist. I tried PTFE tape on it once, but that just made it unscrew, PTFE being slippery and all that.
That hot-end was replaced with a one-piece, which didn't leak, but died due to unrelated problem with the nichrome. (Did I mention I'm not the worlds best machinist?)

I'm in the Sugarhouse area and have been working on a mcwrire'ish repstrap as time allows.(which isn't much, progress is slow)
I've got an extruder and one axis done, and have been making myself familiar with the software side. I'm using an Ardunino (or arduinomega, I have one of each), and easydriver stepper drivers.
I'd love to see a finished machine running and pick the brain of it's builde
