I finished my board last night, uploaded the boot-loader, and uploaded teacup with the config file provided. When i connect to the com port with the Reprap host software and try to nudge an axis it freezes after saying that the line of gcode was Dequeued and sent... i cant find anything regarding the topic so i figured id start here...by vis0r - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
I took the Atmega 664p from my sanguino and flashed it with the gen 7 firmware (in my sangunio) and then placed it into the gen 7 board i have.... the icp and the serial will not respond to any of my commands.... lights are on but no ones home.... checked all voltages.... anyone know where i should start? i went back and checked for shorts.... for like 2 hours...... what should i do? Is there any firmware development since the 1.1 release? i Just finished my V1.1 board today and would love to upload something to it so i can start jogging the axises and start my calibration..... even if its something experimental, i need something that will upload n' goby vis0r - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Im in the process of building my board but....... I made the mistake of ordering the voltage regulated pololu's...... which dont have the proper clearance to install onto this board... Ive been trying to make a replacement component for the existing pololu headers in the schematic, and try and orient them portrait vs landscape to fit (which at that point it wont be single-sided... which is fineby vis0r - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
So, it appears that this sacred switch thats been adopted into a number of reprap hardwares is no longer being manufactured! Mouser says that Fairchild ended the lifecycle of the H21LOB and that it is considered "Obsolete" Same is reported from Digikey and a number of other suppliers.... Does anyone know of a replacement part specific to the H21LOB???by vis0r - Controllers
I think sticking to the Parent "Mendel" Build would be best, As well as adopting some of the proven improvements to the design, like: 1. Wades extruder, or one proven more efficient 2. Nophead's general Mendel improvements 3. Nichrome / Resistor Hot Bed 4. Other Thingiverse Structurally Improved Parts 5. Generation 6 Electronics, which integrate everything onto one board, saving space and monby vis0r - Idaho RUG
Man, that is pretty Im Down with Saturday February 12th, by then ill have my Mendel mechanically assembled, all i need now are electronics and hot-end parts... If anyone else cant make it im perfectly fine waiting till the end of the month....by vis0r - Idaho RUG
