Hi, I'm looking to change the pulleys on my huxley to alloy ones,my huxley was pruchased from reprap pro in june this year and has definately got mxl belts, but the printed pulleys I'm pretty sure have 18 teeth on them (though it is quite difficult to count them in situe on the machine!) I guess going to 16 teeth will slightly increase the accuracy - more turns / mm. Tomby tomf2002 - Huxley
Hi Dave , I have just got back to mine and had it printing today with good results, I'm using the full length supplied tube - my feeling is that it is better to allow free movement and no kinking than to have a short as posible tube. Have you resized (drilled out) the tube at the ends where it screws into the brass ends as it tightens down the tube bore in this area and would restrict onto the fiby tomf2002 - Huxley
Thanks Dave, I had the same problem, issuing an M502 (load factory defaults), followed by an M500 (store them in the e2) has fixed the never stopping extruder problem I had. My kit went together really well, however, I seem to have a lot of extra parts - screws, washers, connectors etc. left over! Will continue on comissioning it tomorrow! Cheers! Tomby tomf2002 - Huxley
Just seen a few others with the same issue 4 posts down. I'll have a look through tomorrow, some of the questions might have been answered there....by tomf2002 - Huxley
Hi all, i'm new here, I have just built a reprap pro huxley with the meltzi PCB, all other functions are good, but the extruder when set to advance / reverse 5mm using the printer interface (following an M302 command to allow cold extrusion) never stops running. Is this normal!? Is there a list of all the G or M codes somewhere so I can see what they are/do! What is the command to cancel or stoby tomf2002 - Huxley
