Quotechris33 solved i just uncommented #define Z_DUAL_STEPPER_DRIVERS Can you help... Just wondering what file you uncommented the line? Is it Configuration or Stepper? Thanks.by crob09 - RAMPS Electronics
Hi DC42, I'm using Marlin, the forum location I found the G60 on is here: Do you happen to have any suggestions? I tried downloading an older version of Slic3r to see if that would work, the older versions may not move the Z axis befor the layer change, but no luck. Would it be a G90 thing? Thanks again for any help.by crob09 - Slic3r
I think I got it!! No Post required... But please critique! I'm going to give it a try... (Layer change G-Code) ; Z moves and the Powder Bed Rises, the Print bed drops: G60 Z ; Remembers the position of the Axis G1 Z0 ; will move everything to Zero, this includes the Part being made. G1 X0 Y-35 ; must be negative because Zero is the Print Bed (Not sure about the limit switch here. G61 Z ; Returby crob09 - Slic3r
So given this link: After switching to Expert there is a spot for "Layer Change G-Code"... I'll keep digging but it looks like .pl is required, but G-Code might work? I need this to happen between layers as noted last: 1.) Move the Gantry and Tooling (Syntering Laser/ IR) to Zero. 2.) Move the Z axis as normal (I'm really stumped here). 3.) Move the Gantry and Tooling 100% across the table. 4by crob09 - Slic3r
Hello, I recently constructed an SLS printer and I need some help with the Post Processor, for Firmware I'm using Marlin, and for the electronics I have RAMP's. Three Axis of the Five available on the RAMP's are being used, however I don't mind using another Driver for the Second Piston Motor it's not required, I inverted the wiring of one motor attached to the Z, this way one motor lifts the bby crob09 - Slic3r
I actually didn't procure it, an engineer at my work did and I'm not sure if he'll share that info; he may have a concern about Intellectual Property so I can ask but please note that I'm limited on what information I can provide. if I disclose the wrong thing it may cost me my employment, but I will ask and will get back to you if I'm able. Hope you understand. Robby crob09 - MetalicaRap

Hello, I hope I'm in the proper place, please let me know if I should be on another Forum for this. Here is my question, if I have a deposition head like this Universal Past Extruder: And I have Alpha Aluminium Oxide powder (a-AI2O3 @ 10um), what do I use as a binder? "Darvan C" or some slurry with Dextrin powder? If it's the Dextrin what do I add to it... Water? If I use one of them as aby crob09 - MetalicaRap
Just to help simplify things a little: The PI would be the replacement Computer, it does not take the place of Arduino or the Control Board, the Arduino can be used with GRBL or a DB25 style driver board can be used with it to run a machine. If Power is a concern, consider using an external source, the Arduino and Rasberry PI are only for processing requests. So it all boils down to two questiby crob09 - General
