Just changed MAX_ACCELERATION_UNITS_PER_SQ_SECOND_Z to 50 and MAX_Trave........_Z to 50 After first test it is just fine, then finaly tuned Z step/mm to 3927.805 And it its just fine :-) I love your sofwate and firmware, working great with Smart Display and print from SD. Hello and thank you quick reply. I downloaded latest release from github 0.83 and uploaded to my printer. an print tests with the same object, now with no chenges on acceleration setting, 20x20x10 printed as 20x20x8 Could you please tell me what exec parameter in firmware i have to chenge, STEP_DOUBLER_FREQUENCY? Z-Axis Problem - 11 years ago
Hello, I am having unugual problem running latest rapetier firmware and software. When I configured Step/mm and check move for all Axis to any dirrection it is no problem. I have RAMPS 1.4 with Smart Display from RRD. When I try to pring test Cube 20x20x10 it is printing with size 20x20x5. I reloaded Sprinter and it is print just fine. I got my frame kit from twelvepro.com about a month ago. It was slide issue with X-Axis parts (X-motor and X-Idler). I contacted them and received replacement updated parts. They just changed design for thouse. Now I am finished my frame and waiting for electronics. Can't wait to finish it...by maxoutny - General

I did all basic troubleshooting and know for sure all my Polulu and motors are fine. After some research I found about problems with ReplicatorG RAMPS 1.3 and Sprinter firmware. After switched to another software all working fine.by maxoutny - RAMPS Electronics

Ok, changing line in configuration.h const bool ENDSTOPS_INVERTING from FALSE to TRUE did the trick; now all my axis move to both directions, but E0 still not working...by maxoutny - RAMPS Electronics

Thank you for replying, I am trying to understand logic. Now I have all electronics on table including step motors and would like to make sure all working fire prior to install it on my Prusa. Based on previous post I was able to select proper board (RAMPS 1.3). My END Stops are mechanical and it is not connected, it should be not meter, because they are not shorted in default position. Could you please help me, I was following your recommendations for my Prusa SAE using mechanical END Stops and wade extruder. My RAMPS I ordered from Ultimachine web store. As a software I use ReplicatorG, Repsnapper not connecting at all even if I change bod rate to 115200 and select proper com port. So far I was trying Splinter firmware but I have two problems: 1. Hello all, I like idea about single board and possibility to reproduce it better then Gen 6, from just firs look I would recommend to have motor connectors identical for all generations of electronics. It will much easy to interchange boards on the same testing printer. I received my kits (Big thank you to Markus) and finish to build one.
