I didn't log back into this for a while but it is still for sale. I can email pictures if you want. Again this is it. For Sale one almost complete Prusa Mendel kit. It will need 2 plywood pieces which you can buy at any home improvement shop for a few bucks. There is a heated bed and the electronics is the complete RAMPS 1.3 which includes an Arduino, end-stops, motor steppers (polulu) and 5 motby clooner - For Sale

Why not use this stepper driver? - 14 years ago
Hi on ebay you find several cheap l298n stepper driver modules. These are complete around 5-8 usd some with free shipping. I tried finding out about them but it seems no one is using them. Can anyone explain to me why these are not used? here is an example of a driverby clooner - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors

What is the experience with using arduino boards purchased of ebay? They sell arduino mega boards for about 25 USD. So If I get one of those + a Ramps 1.4 board which goes here in the forum for about 45 USD I will still need the 4x stepper drivers which go for a total of 40 USD and the endstops of 20 USD(Guess) my total will be 130 USD. Will this be everything I need or will I need something elseby clooner - RAMPS Electronics

Also what Arduino Mega should I order the 1280 or the 2560. I like to order the 1280 but I recall reading somewhere the 1280 is more compatible or is there really no difference between the two except the one has more memory and a better usb interface?by clooner - RAMPS Electronics
T5 or T2.5 Timing belt pitch - 14 years ago
I'm new to building a prusa and the first thing I unknown I have is what is the difference between the T5 or T2.5 timing belt pitch. I that the default on the wiki is T5 and obviously it's the size but what is the difference in use? I have all the mechanics setup and ready to drop in the electronics. It has been a while since I touched electronics so I don't want to do to much complex things. What I want to do is buy a RAMPS v1.4 assembled board and an Arduino MEGA (Which version?) completely assembled and the stepper drivers complete. Is this all I need for the basics of electronics? I'm looking for a complete electronics kit, preferably assembled. I do have motors and a power supply so no need for that. I'm looking for ramps or sanguinololu in both new versions.
