Where do u get power resistors from - 10 years ago

Hi all well I broke my power resistor 6.8 ohm 5w Rounded one. Can't seem to find any, does anyone know Where I can buy them from? I can only find 2.5w

Thxs clem you was right got an new motor works fine Now when I got to print it just buzzes Do u think is not getting enuff power it's got 12 v Power pack on it . It's like only one motor can movie at a time ??? ( if its not one thing it's a other )

Ok x motor still not working I put y in x on the Borad and y works in x but x don't work in y . X It's the same colour set up as y so I just don't get why x motor don't work in x on the board Helps Ples The board is ramps 1.4

Hi thxs for getting back to me The baud rate is set the same in the software And port I get the ping bog when the USB goes in And shows up in device manager as serial com 4 And the driver is ftdi

Hi thxs for gettin back to me It's on com 3 and the rate is 115200 Driver is ftdi 2820 I've tryed with just the lap top and a power pack I just keep geting connecting and if I press it again I get could not open port 3 I've emailed the reprap kit store And still no luck hope I've not wasted £450 On this Do I need a new board ?

Ok thxs mate I've look at that and that's what I have I was tryin printer face again and notice that all the motors go tense so they can't be moved, and if I hit the re set button on printer face and they reset ? But still can't connect It's like it locks up

Can't see FT232 any were in my drivers It's been too weeks and still no look tryed 2 windows 7 laptops and 1 xp Is they any one in uk that I can go and get help from Or any one log in to my pc and take a look at if I did any thing Wrong Thxs colin

Hi all thxs but still no luck the serial port settings are COM3 and same baudrate is set on software and usb the melzi just don't want to connect I reloaded all the pc software as well And read all of the reprap store page on here And just looks like its me that just can't connect Just my luck lol Any ideas ?? Any one in Leicester at all or not far that colud Help?. thxs for reading

hi all dont no if any one can help i got my kit a bout a week ago and just cant get my melzi to work ive tryed all the bit off here and just no look at all evey time i try printrun it just says connceting its in port 3 and with 115200 i dont no alot about pcs and hex codes so iam finding it hard if any colud help it wolud be a big big help thxs colin ps the wife is going nuts at me (told you
