Thanks for the information. Is deltaRadius the radius to the side of the base triangle, or the vertex? For instance, just to make sure I am understanding you correctly, on an equalateral triangle with a side length of 10 units, the distance from the center of the triangle to any vertex is 5.774 units, which would be the radius. That multiplied by two would be 11.548 units, which would be the diagby iVoid - Delta Machines
I just printed out parts to build a Rostock Mini, but I'm confused about diagonal rod length. I decided I would just do the calculations myself based on scaling down the Rostock, but I can't find ay information about these calculations. Could somebody please point me in the right direction? I thaught there would have been spreadsheet calculators for this sort of thing.by iVoid - Delta Machines
Yes, I can reverse the direction, but sometimes when I hit the reverse button it goes forward instead, like it can't make up it's mind. Are my drivers in danger of being damaged? Or could they be the causeof the problem? I've read on other forums that to stop steppers from stalling the reduce the speed, but seeing as this is the extruder, I can't really do that...by iVoid - RAMPS Electronics
Hey guys, well I seem to have a problem with my extruder. I've been trying to print test cubes and the resolution is looking pretty good, but I havn't been able to print a whole cube yet. It prints about 25-30% of the 20mm cube and then the extruder stepper just clicks back and forth. It just oscillates back and forth making a pretty big racket, as the rest of the steppers continue to work. If Iby iVoid - RAMPS Electronics
Thanks for the info. I didn't even think of searching the data sheet. That connector that you linked looks about right. What I ended up doing is buy some little 6 pin headers with the pitch that I measured on the motor. That aught to do it at least for now.by iVoid - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
So I ordered some Nema 17 steppers for my Prusa Mendel, but the don't have wires coming out of it. they have a 6 pin straight connector. Does anybody know where I can find some of these connectors? I'd hate to try to solder the wires directly into that tiny connector...by iVoid - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
