QuoteDust you haven't set a max feed rate for z, You always have an incredible knowledge. Thank you. Will try: M203 Z100 if I understood correctly. And I will try to store it in the firmware. Thanks again, Gaetanoby gaetans - RAMPS Electronics
Prusa i3 clone, ramps 1.4, Marlin 2.0 Recently I am experience an issue only when homing Z. When I press home Z, it moves a little (variable, but not more than 2-3mm) than it stucks and returns a big noise. To get rid I have to disconnect and reconnect the printer. The strange thing is that if I move with Pronterface the Z axis (even 10mm) it NEVER gives this issue. Only when homing. Here is a vby gaetans - RAMPS Electronics
I had a ramps 1.3. (Marlin 2.0, Prusa i3 clone). D10 was faulty so instead of using D10 & D8 i changed in pin_RAMPS.h in D9 and D8. Extruder and bed worked just fine. Some days ago I bought a Full Graphic Smart Controller (to use SD and not be in connection with the computer). The SD didn't work. So after several attempts I installed a new ramps 1.4. SD is now working, reading gcodes in it. Eby gaetans - RAMPS Electronics
Tryed with a ramps 1.4 (that I ordered some weeks ago just in case) and it works! Still some issues with the board (mega) (will make another post).by gaetans - Firmware - Marlin
Sorry guys, I typed wrong. it is not 1.2 but 1.3. It is a (RAMPS_13_EE So pin_RAMPS_13 and so pin_RAMPS.h Sorry you lost time because of my error. Can you think of any solution to try?by gaetans - Firmware - Marlin
First of all thanks. I don't understand very well. In pins_RAMPS.h I have: I moved 49 to 66: // // LCD Display input pins // #if ENABLED(NEWPANEL) #if ENABLED(REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER) #define BEEPER_PIN 37 #if ENABLED(CR10_STOCKDISPLAY) #define BTN_EN1 17 #define BTN_EN2 23by gaetans - Firmware - Marlin
I have decided to have a stand alone printer (I have a Prusa i3 clone, aluminium frame, ramps1.2) that always worked with a pc connected. I have bought the Full Graphic Smart controller and updated Marlin to 2.0.x I also enabled SDSUPPORT and of course enabled the REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER The controller works, displays temperature, time etc. BUT no SD icon is available (as oby gaetans - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks Novato for the reply. The SD card is not accessible so I can't "launch" any gcode... The problem occurs when I launch "preheat for PLA" and it goes very high in temperature even though the limit is set to 180.by gaetans - Reprappers
Update: I can set the bed temperature from the software (if I attach ti the usb cable). It stay at 60°C. But I have no control on Extruder temperature. I have formatted the SD card in msdos-fat but again I can't see any files inside it.by gaetans - Reprappers
Hi, I have set up my LCD Smart Controller. It is connected, it reads temperature. It does the x,y,z homing. But I have some problems: 1) when I set the PLA preheating it does not stop at 180 Celsius. It continues to raise, more than 250 °C! 2) If I change the PLA preating values nothing changes, it always display 180°C. 3) it detects that I inserted an SD Card but I can't see anything insideby gaetans - Reprappers
