No its not. I dont really want to put it up on here though.Email me at the first email and ill give to you.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
Yes could you please send it. I dont know what is happening.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
I have something wrong in my arduino configuration for my smartrap. Could I have someones configuration file?by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
I'm using Marlin for my Smartrap and when I run the Test Code my Hotend will heat. When I make an attempt to manually heat it in Pronterface or Repetier Host it wont heat and I'm getting no voltage out of D10. Any help? I've added the Arduino Sketch Configuration. Is therre anything wrong with it? #ifndef CONFIGURATION_H #define CONFIGURATION_H // This configuration file contains the basic settby BradStaff - Firmware - mainstream and related support
No matter what I do, i can only move my Y-axis motor to move. It's not the motors problem. I've tried other motors in the Y slot and even with different stepper drivers and motors will only move if they're in the Y slot. It's the same when I use the RAMPS test code or just move it in Pronterface. Does anyone know what's happening? Is my board fried, or is it in my code?by BradStaff - RAMPS Electronics
I'm using Marlin. I have my endstops plugged in and when I open Pronterface, connect, send m119, it says that they're triggered instead of being opened. It's not an inverting issue. Even with one plugged in I'm getting no response from it. What's happening?by BradStaff - RAMPS Electronics
I guess your right, I ordered some that looked strong and fit and I'll see how they doby BradStaff - Reprappers
Quotevictorjung the strongest you can find, and that fit around your bed screws! That's super vauge and obvious!by BradStaff - Reprappers
I am very new to 3D printing and plan to use springs on my Smartrap. What would be the best kind to get for my bed?by BradStaff - Reprappers
Thanks. This explains a lot. I'm new to a lot of this.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
That's not the only thing keeping me from printing. I fried my arduino board and am waiting on a replacement voltage regulator. China mail is taking its time. When I fix that I'll have to fix some hotend voltage problems. My question about the servo motors is how does the code know the distance between the endstop and the hotend so that it prints correctly?by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
That's what I thought but then RegPye posted that and I didn't know what was going on.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
Quotemadmike8 Doh! I thought he was talking about servo motors instead of steppers... The new meds the doc has me on has been screwing with my head. Hopefully it levels out soon... Wait. I am talking about servos. The one for the autolevel. I'm so confused. Who's right?by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
So I'm adding a power switch to the power source on my Smartrap. I'm confused by these vague directions. Where's the fuse?by BradStaff - Controllers
So I'm using the Servo Motor design for the Smartrap and am new to all of this and I have some questions. How do I connect the servo motor to the RAMPS Board? What do I do to the Gcode the actually move the motor? I'm just a little confused about how it's going to work. Any help?by BradStaff - RAMPS Electronics
Quotemadmike8 I wish I could help, but the only servo motors I use are for my R/C Airplanes... But I am interested in learning, so I'll be watching this thread too. Might try this question over in the RAMPS section of the reprap forums too.. Thanks. I'll do that.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap

Quotewoo hehe. about smartrap: i am thinking to lasercut some 8 or 10 mm steel plate with dimensions about 200 x 300 mm and fix whole printer to it to add stability. i am having some issues with high speeds, like 100 mm/s, printer is dancing on whole work table luckily i have lasercutter @ work so this should not be a problem brad: well, english is not my native language so i guess we haveby BradStaff - Smart_Rap

Well that's cool. And I am so in with your portable printer. Is it going to be like the Foldarap?by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
Quotewoo very nice, congratz. when i waz 14, we had 386 and 485 pentiums, with 33 or boosted 66 mhz I think my brain just vomited. What are we talking about?by BradStaff - Smart_Rap

Well 14 year olds aren't known for being smart i dont get it, who has 14 years? i am making another printer, lets call it hardcore, basic idea of this little printer is to be portable No. I'm 14. Quotemadmike8 I use zip ties thru the current holes and a zip tie to clamp the belt against itself... Works good.. But Marks look so much better... As usual... That's what I've been doing but it'll take a few inches off of both dimensions. It's also a little iffy. I'll use the zip ties and when it's up and running ill use marks idea and print those parts.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
I feel stupid asking this, but what is the best way to attach my belts to the the SmartRap? I've seen in Reg Pye's Samrtrap Build, he made toothed slots for them but that doesn't seem reliable but I could be wrong. Any suggestions? Reg Pye's Buildby BradStaff - Smart_Rap
Be careful. I'm almost done with mine and I planned for a printer around your same price and I've spiraled into about $400US.by BradStaff - Smart_Rap
Well I just fried my Mega Board's voltage regulator. I'm replacing it with this. I think that there was a problem in the pins.h file but i wont know until I fix it.by BradStaff - RAMPS Electronics
Would this be a good one to get?by BradStaff - Reprappers
Yeah it is the voltage regulator. How should I replace it?by BradStaff - Reprappers
