Also I had similar issue and the vertical ripples/waves on mine was easier to see, problem was caused by a pulley on the Y motor for some reason no longer sit straight, I can't even adjust it back in place, the ripples on mine were in a bit of a distance which translate to the wobble of rotation on the pulley.by deaconfrost - CoreXY Machines
Don't know if you got the problem solved, idler bearing at front of the x carriage of both side should be tooth idler, not smooth bearings, the teeth on the belts are riding on the smooth bearings, that can cause ripple, either you have the idler bearings in wrong place or it wasn't in your BOMby deaconfrost - CoreXY Machines
Thanks for the link, I have to go get another sdcard then I give it a goby deaconfrost - Controllers
Hi dc42, I'm looking to try out reprap firmware on a delta, mainly very interested the calibration you have in it for delta, is there any tricky bits I need to know, or some walk through, I have googled about it and read thru the installation guide, but a bit confuse as I read here mention radds, there mention duet. thanksby deaconfrost - Controllers

for some funny reason, it is perfect when it is printing, but when I do manual movement, it does that, I don't know why, and the jam wasn't actually jamming on the hotend, I swapped out the extruder motor and it is now printing fine, very strange but I live with it as long as it prints in the middle of second layer at 50 microby deaconfrost - Delta Machines
hmmm.... this is really weird, I went ahead and give it a test print, watching the nozzle printing across those points, and this time it moved across all points... FLAT :O how...??? I haven't made any adjustment yet... strange oh I'm running RADDS + DUE with DRV8825s, repetier firmware and I have linear guides..by deaconfrost - Delta Machines
I went through that before and all seems ok, I was printing at 0.3mm first layer then 0.1mm there after, but when I print at 0.05mm, thats when I have trouble with this strange leveling, hotend can't extrude at those points and eventually jams, I go through that again and see if I missed something thanksby deaconfrost - Delta Machines
wonder if anyone can give me some pointer on this one here my leveling results X -50 Y50 0.1MM X0 Y50 0MM X50 Y50 0.1MM X-50 Y0 0MM X0 Y0 0MM X50 Y0 0MM X-50 Y-50 0.1MM X0 Y-50 0MM X50 Y-50 0.1MM what do I need to alter to sort this out? it is not a lot of an issue for most print, but I like tby deaconfrost - Delta Machines
Hello guys, haven't been around for a while, after finishing the project with the full leadscrews printer design I took a few months break from printing and stuff, back to the game and I'm looking for a 32bit board for a Delta to run up to 5 extruders, any suggestions guys on this? I know I can go with the duet and the expansion boards, is there such thing I can use with the most sbase 32bit boarby deaconfrost - Controllers
this is weird, I print this very same thing vertical and works, lay it down flat to print, it jamsby deaconfrost - Printing
been having horrible days with my cyclops, its jamming on PLA if there is any retraction at all, regardless how much its retracting, it will jam, the less I retract, the more times it can retract before jamming, sometimes it jams even with no retraction, the PLA I have is rated 190c to 210c, printing in with in those temp will jam even with no retraction, only way to get it print further now is aby deaconfrost - Printing
but I have the genuine Due, however I sent it back for testing and found to be faulty, waiting for replacementby deaconfrost - Controllers
guess I just stick with RADDS for now soby deaconfrost - Controllers
are there any other 32 bit board with 3 extruders on board? been looking around, all I found are dual extruder onboard, other than RADDS which I already have and having some problem with itby deaconfrost - Controllers
how do I check or fix this? or is it a warranty job? do they even replace these boards? I emailed the shop so hopefully get a reply tomorrowby deaconfrost - Controllers
I tested with ramps, everything is working fine, it seems it is either the RADDS board or Due has a problemby deaconfrost - Controllers
I'm using genuine Arduino Due with RADDS and RADDS LCD, been working very well for months, tonight it just reset then E0 temp reads 70.4c to 74c up and down mostly stays around 71c, that reads like that even when I have thermistor plugged out, change it to use second thermistor pin, it reads 200 with or without plugging in the thermistor, tried all the pins and reprogram to it, all reading some tby deaconfrost - Controllers
mine worked straight from the configuratorby deaconfrost - Developers
I'm using repetier as well, only thing I'm doing to get around the short cable is find a good place with enough space and have the lcd case integrated with the radds case togetherby deaconfrost - Developers
did you get a longer cable at the end? I could do with a long cable myselfby deaconfrost - Developers
thanks I'm very please with the outcome, there has been many revision and a very long time designing and testing different build I'll be revising the appearance of the printer but keeping all mechanical exactly the same, and will be produced in transparent red PETG then treat with z-poxyby deaconfrost - Mechanics
just one more to show its ability 107.2mm x 96.64mm x 34.22mm Printed at 50 micron without supportby deaconfrost - Mechanics
I am also having the exact same problem, I have radds 1.5 with due using latest repetitive firmware and lcd for raddsby deaconfrost - Controllers
I got mine from a local engineering place, these are not chrome, but I'm looking to put it up on kickstarter and there will be option for chrome then, but it is a good idea to run the linear bearings with added lubrication, once theres a layer of grease on them it wouldn't matter, there be optional enclosure as well, I have sourced a manufacturer for acrylic sheets on various thickness, I will beby deaconfrost - Mechanics
if everything else are perfect, then only thing I can think of are motors or driversby deaconfrost - Printing
I know my old a4988 are good to go so to minimize any unkonwn possible issue on a new build I designed myself, I use all electronics that I know been working well before trying nything elseby deaconfrost - Printing
