As per subject title, I'm currently having an issue with the Z-axis motor. I used 2 motors for my Z-axis and they move fine pressing + and -Z from software. However, whenever it auto home, after the first touch of the Z-endstop, the other motor would not move in a slower speed like the working motor but instead it stopped moving. What problem am i facing.? Please help!by RevoCayne - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors

Thank you !! YES the 10 A dont have connectivity while the 15A has. Where can i get a replacement for it?by RevoCayne - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi, I have recently working on Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro C model. After several normal prints, i leave the first extruder on for next print for awhile and suddenly the temperature just drops. I was unable to heat it back up, nor move any of my axis. Only heat bed is working and power supply is supplying 12V to its microcontroller GT2560. Please help me i need the printer to get working asap.by RevoCayne - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi, I'm building a dual extruder 3d printer using the Marlin-RC firmware. I have got everything working so far until i face this one main problem. My extruder 1 will not extrude/retract at all, and my extruder 2 will move its x-axis to the center after extruding, and will move back when retract is pressed. This problem has not occured before to my other 3d printers with single extruder. Please heby RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
Thank you ggherbaz. I will experiment it again and feedback here.by RevoCayne - Printing
Hi Chris33, Thank you for such clear comparison. I will experiment it again hopefully it works well. Thanks a lot.by RevoCayne - Printing
I'm facing a problem with my FlashForge Dreamer which it produces blobs and zlits for printings curving upwards or expanding curve surface. This is a comparison between FlashForge Dreamer and FlashForge Creator Pro using the same material, same settings in temperature, layer height, speed, and others. What could be the problem of my FlashForge Dreamer? Please help because i wouldnt want the printby RevoCayne - Printing
Hi i don't have a cooling fan. One more problem is that my printing always get off the print bed half way if im printing tall objects. How do i prevent that?by RevoCayne - Printing
I have double checked my code and realized that my heatbed thermal sensor was not defined. Thats why even the pins are swapped it is not picking up any signals. Now i have swapped the pins and it worked. Thanks George and Dust for helping.! Much appreciatedby RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
I will try to swap the pins or change the codes when i get my hands on it. However, the T1 im currently connecting to is showing 0 degC instead of room temperature. That means its not sensing any temperature at all doesnt matter its sensor for heatbed or for extruder. So what could be the problem then if the pin is for heatbed but still showing 0 degC.by RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
Hi, I have pins_RAMPS.h shown below at the TEMP pins. #define PS_ON_PIN 12 #define TEMP_0_PIN 13 // ANALOG NUMBERING #define TEMP_1_PIN 15 // ANALOG NUMBERING #define TEMP_BED_PIN 14 // ANALOG NUMBERING #if ENABLED(Z_PROBE_SLED) #define SLED_PIN -1 #endif // Augmentation for auto-assigning RAMPS plugs #if DISABLED(IS_RAMPS_EE && DISABLEby RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
Hi, i have done another troubleshooting which proved that my 2nd thermal sensor is not working because one wire inside the heatshrink tube had loose. But now i have plugged with another working thermal sensor, the T1 is still not picking up signals. i swapped again T1 and T0 to see if the ramps could get the new thermal sensor and it shows 25 degC. I also changed the RAMPS to make sure it was noby RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics

Hi i am building my own dual extrusion 3D printer. I have RAMPS with defined Motherboard_14_EEB and connected two thermal sensor 1 at T0 and another one at T1. The printer doesnt contain any heatbed. Scenario: Temp sensor both classified as 1 in Marlin. T0 shows 25degC room temperature and is able to heat up. T1 shows 0degC. Swapped T0 to T1, new T0 now shows 0degC and T1 also 0degC. Lowered the temp for 5 degs and lower the printing speed to 20 mm/s. The results seems promising for some overhang but there's still some blobs showing. The hand and mouth requires support but i didnt enable them so it was okay. My printer doesnt have the feature to print infill first. So i couldnt try thatby RevoCayne - Printing
Hi, I'm printing with infill last. perimeter first. i see. i will also try that and later i will post the results here.by RevoCayne - Printing
The model is quite small. just around 20 x 40 mm. I will try to lower the temperature and print slower. Thanks.by RevoCayne - Printing
My calibration step is accurate for non overhang parts. would changing the speed solve the problem? or temperature?by RevoCayne - Printing
See this attached squirtle. The printing problem occurs when its printing from the bottom pole of a hemisphere to the centre of the hemisphere. This is what occurs on the mickey head and every print that has such features. So which parameter should i changed to improve it?by RevoCayne - Printing
Yes i'm using heated bed with temperature of 55 and the printing speed is 40 mm/sby RevoCayne - Printing
I have print this with treelike support. Can anyone here please tell me what parameters affect the bottom part to print like this? This is a PLA printing at 180 degC with layer thickness 0.14mm.by RevoCayne - Printing
Problem solved. The actual cause is the default axis steps per unit is too high for Z that causes it to stuck in the movement. I thought it was because of default max feedrate. Thanks for helping DC42by RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
Hi i have my electronics all hooked up and i am building a MendelMax 1.5 or 2 i'm not sure. I have the stepper motor driver connected to their position according to schematic diagram and the microsteppers jumper were installed. The scenario is this: X and Y axis works fine. Thanks for the info Thinkyhead. Yes my extruders are identical. So there's no need to change the configuration_adv.h file?by RevoCayne - Firmware - Marlin

Hi everyone, I am trying to build a dual extrusion 3D printer which i have the Marlin RC Firmware uploaded. I have configured the Extruder count in Marlin to 2, changed the temp sensor settings, but i couldnt get my slicer software, Matter Control to detect it as dual extruder printer. Can someone please help me with the configuration? I have tried to find tutorials but couldnt find any decent tby RevoCayne - Firmware - Marlin
QuoteDust What I do know from real world practical experience is that there are thousands of people happily running standard 20x4 and 128x64 on the ramps, with no power issues. (including myself) But that’s its limits, adding a servo does seem to take it over the top. Yes, I do have no problem connecting 20x4 LCD on the ramps with other Arduino Mega. That is why i concluded that my these twoby RevoCayne - RAMPS Electronics
