Hello everyone, i have a 3950 Thermistor and i think the temps are wrong because the filament doesn't melt correctly it need more heat (used both PLA and ABS ) here is a picture to understand the problem more . thanks in advance guys .by hichamom - General
hello guys i hope you are doing well i have a problem with My Diy 3d printer the problem i didnt get any temp readings on pronterface i have tried tow different thermistors b the way the thermistor is conected to To and the hotend is on D10 i have atached My config files thanks in advanceby hichamom - RAMPS Electronics
hello guys i have a problem witch is the hot end of the extruder does heat at all even on Repetier-Host or Printrun does show the initial temp here is a screenshotby hichamom - Reprappers
QuoteDust recheck the power supply supply goes directly to vmot of stepper drivers (check voltage on vmot pin and gnd ) depending on your controller, it may go threw a fuse thanks for the reply i fix it but now the problem is the hotend doesnt heat at all i dont know why ?by hichamom - Reprappers
hello guys my motors stop working i don't why i check the firmware and change the Bord the the drivers and even the power supply the problem is the motors doesn't have power the x axies move just a bit and they other motors just make a small sound plz take a note i set the current on the driver so its not the problemby hichamom - Reprappers
QuoteRoberts_Clif QuoteSteveRoy It should show room temp at least. Start with the thermistor. Correct It Should show about 20-25C Don't believe I have ever seen exactly 0C Use a hair dryer see if you can heat the hot-end heater Block and change the temperature. Until the hot-end temperature reaches 15C Marlin Firmware will not allow the Controller to switch the power on to the hot-end. herby hichamom - Reprappers
here is my cong file plz take a lookby hichamom - Reprappers
QuoteRoberts_Clif What is the temperature of the Bed and the Hot-end on startup. thanks for the reply Roberts i dont use the heat bed no the hotend does heat at all it remains 0 degreeby hichamom - Reprappers
hello guys well as i said the hotend doe heat at all how i can fix it plz my conf #define TEMP_SENSOR_0 8 #define TEMP_SENSOR_1 0 #define TEMP_SENSOR_2 0 #define TEMP_SENSOR_3 0 #define TEMP_SENSOR_4 0 #define TEMP_SENSOR_BED 0 // Dummy thermistor constant temperature readings, for use with 998 and 999 #define DUMMY_THERMISTOR_998_VALUE 25 #define DUMMY_THERMISTOR_999_VALUE 100 // Use temp sby hichamom - Reprappers
QuoteRoberts_Clif I do not know what you shorted the driver current potentiometer to. If you were adjusting the Driver board, shorted it out. Yes there is a small possibility you have taken out the Driver Board the Ramps Board and the Arduino Controller. Not saying you did, but you coils have. Yes I shorted the potentiometer And the driver isn't working any more now with the arduino mega I gotby hichamom - RAMPS Electronics
QuoteDust yes, dead easy Just edit the pins_RAMPS.h file Find these two block of code and swap all the numbers over, like for llike. eg Y_STEP_PIN becomes 36 #define E1_STEP_PIN 36 #define E1_DIR_PIN 34 #define E1_ENABLE_PIN 30 #define E1_CS_PIN 44 #define Y_STEP_PIN 60 #define Y_DIR_PIN 61 #define Y_ENABLE_PIN 56 #define Y_CS_PINby hichamom - Firmware - Marlin
Thank you dust for the reply and now how I can change the speed y speed or E1 speedby hichamom - Firmware - Marlin
Hello guys I recently shorted the arduino mega when I was adjusting the current on the driver ..the arduino gone Is safe to reuse that same ramps board with the new arduino?? Thanks in advanceby hichamom - RAMPS Electronics
Hello guys Is it possible to use the extruder 2 port as the y port because I have a problem with the y port ..and if its possible how I can do that ? Thanks in advanceby hichamom - Firmware - Marlin
QuoteTrakyan Check to see if movement on your y axis is smooth and the rails aren't binding or have excess friction, that could be a problem. all things are good how i can use the e1 port for the y stepper would that be possible ? + i have an old ramps board ... i shorted it and the old arduino gone ..would be it safe to use it again with the arduino and test if there is a problem with the PCBby hichamom - Reprappers
Quoteo_lampe Maybe the microstep jumpers aren't registered from the controller? Bad contact or cold solder/cracked PCB traces? What if you swap XY-stepper connectors? Or use E0 and Z-ports for a change. yes o_lampe i tried to swap the x y connectors and the same problem iam thinking to use the e1 ports as the y but i don't know how i have an other ramps board but iam afraid to use it because wiby hichamom - Reprappers
QuoteTrakyan The default accelerations are usually different, especially on an i3. Is this causing print problems or just an observation? i didn't print any thing yet but when i tried to set home to the x stepper its works fine but for the y stepper it didn't work till i lower the speed and the federate a lotby hichamom - Reprappers
Hello guys I recently shorted the board and fired the arduino mega ... I got a brand new one now I would like to test if the board still working right or no how I can test it Thanks in advanceby hichamom - RAMPS Electronics
QuoteTrakyan The accelerations are probably set differently, although it's usually the Y axis with a lower acceleration not the X. That or different pulley diameters causing different linear travel speeds for the same RPM. What problem is this causing? First thanks for the reply Trakyan I use the same pulley size and the acceleration is the default one I didn't change it at all I don't know whatby hichamom - Reprappers
hi guys i hope you doing great i have a problem with the motors speed ..... the y axis move faster the the x axis i give them the same speed ....i tried to swap the driver and the jumpers and still the same problemby hichamom - Reprappers
QuoteRoberts_Clif Let's start with what Model 3D Printer / 3d Printer Clone are you having problems with. What version of Marlin are you configuring and attach the Configuration.h file for the forum to view, this will greatly assist us in helping you. thanks a lot Roberts well yes its a DIY printer i'am using the latest version 1.1.x i tried the default configuration and the same problem hereby hichamom - Reprappers
hi guys i am building a 3d printer and i had a problem witch is the axis x y z stop at the middle and doesn't go all the way i mean there is a stopping point at the middle i tried to change the max pos on the marlin firmware .. stil has the same problem i hope you guys can help me out with this .... thanks in advanceby hichamom - Reprappers
