FML!!!! Thank you so much! funny thing was that I actually did swap it round and it just started freaking out so I assumed it couldn't be the problem HAHA I really should pay more attention to the pins lol Thanks againby liminal1 - Firmware - Marlin
Hey all, Cant do any Z homing on my new BTT SKR 1.4, cant get the pin to deploy, just moved over from a MKS GEN L, was working fine. Used the same pins basicly Z_MIN and the Servo on the SKR. Does a self test when I switch it on, but wont deploy pin when homing. Ok Y stepper was a wire that had come out of the crimp, fixed that, all working. Changed the E stepper driver to another, but I'm still having the extrude issue. It prints perfect, nice first layer ect. but about 10% though the stepper just starts ticking (as per the video)by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Well this is now a different issue, I would have thought? I have balanced the power for the steppers. And then I opened a new post because, while its the same problem, cant extrude, its a new issue, its nothing to do with balancing the stepper drivers. What do you think?by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Now the Y stepper is not working HAHA My god! its always somethingby liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Good idea! I think I have a few floating around. I'll try it tonight Ill let you knowby liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Thanks all, Ive created a new post more specific to this issue;by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Hey all, Having an issue with my extruder stepper. It works for a while, then just starts clicking, please see the video. Its not clogged. Once the stepper stops turning, if I take the bowden tube out of the hot end, it still does the same thing. Turn the printer off and back on after 20 mins. heat up the hot end with the bowden tube still out and it works. Very confused as to what this coby liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Lol, sorry, I meant .55 So here is a video to my issue. The extruder stepper works for a while. Then just starts doing this.by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Ok, So I found this video About tuning the steppers; Ive put them all at about 5.5V they were a little all over the place. Maybe some were too high and thats what was causing the juddering? I dont know enough about it. g28 seems to be ok right now... About to try a test print. wish me luck lolby liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Yeah that sounds plausible, but the wires are fine. They all came from either the original Anet A8 the printer is based off, or proper electrical cable: Like this. The PSU is 12v 30amps so thats fine I think? But I would have thought it was the cable or the PSU then Id have issues heating the bed or HE? I thought the steppers would be low draw? But I'm happy to be corrected, I'm no expertby liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Hey guys, Strange issue with the stepper drivers on a ramps. Its like there is not enough power to drive all the steppers, turning up one potentiometer to get that stepper running smoothly, seems to make another motor start to judder. I cant seem to find anyone having the same issue, how do I get them balanced?by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Awesome!! I seen that, but didnt see the VCC part. BL Touch is now working. Thank you!by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
Hey all, I have a new ramps 1.6 board and my BL touch is not working. The 1.6 doesn't seem to have the jumper for the 5v and vcc. So im stuck trying to test the power properly. Sticking my MM on the pins red on the 5v and black on the gnd.. but gives me like 40v and then sometimes 2v... cant be right. What am I doing wrong?by liminal1 - RAMPS Electronics
