Sounds good Rob, but shame about your printer! I should be easy to find - I've had a large banner made up with my logo on it, so just keep an eye out for that while you walk around.

Hi there twisted! It seems to be rather quiet around these parts at the moment. I'd invite you to show off your printer at my workshop, but I'm down in Exeter, so might be a bit far for you. In other news (and to hijack this thread a little) I've got a stand at Maker Faire in Newcastle this weekend! (bringing the thread back on topic) so if anyone is heading up we could do a mini meetup there.

Jan, I'm going to say at this point it's probably a better idea to not worry about coming to Exeter tomorrow. As nobody else is able to attend, and I have some pretty urgent matters to deal with, I'm afraid I simply won't be able to be at the workshop long enough to make it worthwhile. Paul, will do as soon as I have it! It will most likely be Saturday 24th however. Times will be from around 10am to 7:30pm at the latest. Edit: Realised you were asking where, as well as when. I should have said - it will be at my workshop in Exeter.

It's been quite quiet in here recently! Time to change that. I'm planning on organising a workshop down my way some time in the next few weeks. I've just checked my couplers (I'm also using Nopheads design) and it appears I've had the same issue as Nealeb - The tube is getting squashed and slightly deformed. I'm printing some new ones out now, making the gap slightly larger. Will let you know how that goes. Greetings snout. I'd me more than happy to sell you a set of printed parts, along with anything else you might need. Most people go with the Prusa Mendel to start out with - it's quite probably the most common RepRap out there. The standard setup for a Prusa is to use NEMA17 steppers - You need 5 of them for the Prusa. Let me know if you are interested!

Realised I should probably let you all know that I am still alive, and confirm that everything is still good for this weekend. As there is a hard finish time of 7:30pm (else we risk getting locked in the building) I am still deciding on what to do with regards to food.
