Ein 3d-Drucker ist nur sinnvoll, wenn man mit den Programmen zum Bauteilentwurf umgehen kann. Kannst du das? Ich würde dir also erst einmal dazu raten, dich mit den CAD-Programmen zu beschäftigen und zu lernen, wie du eigene Objekte entwerfen kannst. I'm considering using more precise plastic bearings, but I'm not sure of the design constraints yet. For my current printer (pretty standard cartesian XZ;Y, geared extruder) I'm using 3mm filament. Ist es möglich, für die verwendeten Farbpigmente Vergleichswerte z.B. für RAL classic anzugeben? Am Bildschirm sehen die Filamente immer unterschiedlich aus und ich finde es gut, wenn man auch vorher schon eine etwas genauere Vorstellung über die Farbe hat. Ich habe mir im September eine Heizmatte bestellt, auch direkt eine Sonderanfertigung aus China. Abmessungen 200mm x 300mm, 230V, 400W. Gekostet hat es am Ende ungefähr 45 Euro.von fr - Schwarzes Brett

I found thermistors quite unattractive as well and designed a small thermocouple amplifier board. It's based on an AD8495 thermocouple amplifier chip, which is not the cheapest option, but offers reasonabl accurate temperatures. Power supplies aren't too picky about their load. However, a fan might not be enough load on the 5V rail, so you might need to think of something that uses more power.von fr - Reprappers

What power supply are you using? If you unplug the power supply from the mains, wait a couple of minutes and plug it in again, will it turn on again? Some ATX power supplies do not like to operate with next to no load on 5V and large loads on 12V. In this case, their internal voltage regulation will fail and trigger an over- or undervoltage shutdown. Removing power and then trying to turn the powvon fr - Reprappers

Thanks for the explanations! My bed is not installed yet, so unfortunately I can't try it out. Am I correct in undestanding that the firmware needs to be changed each time the bed is levelled? From what I've read so far, at least the Prusa 2 needs to be levelled quite often. I chose a sturdier design based on aluminium extrusions. Hi everyone, I'm currently building my own printer (due to not having a 3d printer and wanting slightly larger rails, it consists entirely of non-printed parts), but after finally being able to give it an initial test run, I'm a bit puzzled about endstops and their setup. Preliminary tests seem to indicate that my normal-sized mains-powered silicone heater works just fine, but they're only preliminary. I strongly advise against creating your own mains-connected PCB if you don't know exactly what you're doing. However, if you want to have a mains-connected heating solution, you might want to look into silicone heaters. Mains-connected heating has the advantage of being able to achieve much higher heating power without the hassle of getting a suitably powerful low-voltage power supply. This enablvon fr - General
