Hi, got a tip - my problems were generated by the minimum layer time feature, for slowing down prints on small objects to give the layer enough time to cool down. Can be found in Extruder settings - cooling. On larger objects the speed was ok. So i think this is solved. I think this was a new features that came with an update. Stefanvon xblades - Slic3r
Hi, tried to test slic3r beyond 1.1.7 on ubuntu 14.04 LTS - 64 bit. Versions 1.2.5 and 1.2.6 don't start and give me memory access error. Works up to 1.1.7 gui is starting and functional. Versions 1.2.0 to 1.2.4 don't start the gui, only help text is printed. Versions 1.2.0 to 1.2.4 starting slic3r -- version prints version and exits - that's ok. Versions 1.2.0 to 1.2.4 starting slic3r -- gui revon xblades - Slic3r
I have problems generating gcode with slic3r - ubuntu : The test print is a simple small cube. The print speeds seem to be wrong - the first 3 layers are at double speed - other layers are quite slow - solid infills are extreme fast. I cannot explain this behaviour from the settings. Please have a look on the feed-rates : First layer (solid): G1 Z0.250 F12000.000 G1 X78.114 Y77.207 F12000.000 G1von xblades - Slic3r
