fixed. replaced stepper driver. adjusted voltage. reflashed. working.by pgringo - Prusa i3 and variants
well, messing with things, i get movement when telling it to move 0.1mm at a time either up or down, but still no movement in 1mm or 10mm in either directionby pgringo - Prusa i3 and variants
ramps 1.4 with genuine arduino. i adjusted stepper driver voltage to 0.95 everything was working except z gauge was 50% of what it should be. I turned the machine off, left, came back to it the next day, and now z axis will not move. I get screaming from the motors, but no movement.by pgringo - Prusa i3 and variants
i had this problem pop up with a spool of black pla. i reduced the extrusion multiplier down to 85 and increased printing speed. no more backups/clogs.by pgringo - Mendel90
Quotenophead The main issues are the weight of the bed will be 4.4 times bigger, so either it will accelerate four times slower, or you need a motor with more torque. Also the machine will be twice as deep as the bed. You might be better with a moving head / stationary bed machine. so, in your expert opinion, what might be the largest practical build size?by pgringo - Mendel90
is a 42cm^3 build volume doable/practical at all with a mendel90? you know, just because? sort of like an amp that goes to 11.by pgringo - Mendel90
we need this info quick. i'm 45 miles away and i'm not making that drive randomly.by pgringo - Texas, Houston RepRap User Group
i should be able to make dec 8th. my personal first reprap (prusa i3 box frame) is about 85% done...hopefully more by the end of the day/week/month.by pgringo - Texas, Houston RepRap User Group
