I'm printing on a G1 mix, with Z,Y,Z and E properly calibrated as far as I can tell.
As an example, the attached print is about 23mm high. The walls are 3 mm. Boy do they come out bad.
Will cooling help something like this? I notice when the extruder comes about to a previous position, the wall is still soft and moves around with it.
I am printing at 235C and bed at 120C.

Ok, figured this out. Under cooling, it was enabled. Cooling slows down the print speed based on some formula, disabled that and its printing at configured speeds.

I have been about a month into printing and it seems to be going smooth for the most part.
One thing I am stuck with is Slic3r not honouring the speed I set in its configuration. To speed things up, which I believe the printer can handle, I have set all the speeds in a test slicing config to 160mm/s.
What happens is the first layer is printed real fast, its a 0.3mm layer, then rest of the layer

I notice this curling on small features too, particularly the balls in ball bearings just can't be printed because the ball edges curl upwords while being made, as a result, once there is enough curl, the ball is ripped off the base as the nozzle moves around.

Thanks Bob, Spot on. It was the gear that was loose.
Thanks.

Printing
Hi Guys, most of my printing is going fine considering this is day 2. However, I am not sure if the bed is jamming or something else is going on.
I printed a very simple cube, 30mm x 30mm with a 15mm circle in center.
The circle is really bad and even detached on one point.
Anyone has any idea whats going on? Basically, its not round, sort of flattened on one side and a little distortion on t

I see not much response.
Question, should I be trying higher temperatures, whats a safe limit?
I read somewhere some ABS need 260C to melt and I tried going to 255C.
How high can I go.

Plastic Extruder Working Group
Just assembled my very first 3D printer from a kit, it comes with a assembled Extruder,
this one
Its the G1 Mix on the same sight, everything is working per say, x,y,z, extruder but I can't get it to start printing.
I got 0.34mm nozel with 1.75mm ABS.
Basically, it seems my PTFE is getting too hot at 235 and the ABS melts in their jamming the whole thing, I have to remove it, drill the jam
