Good job!
Is it sliced by skeinforge?

Hey, guys.
I want to make some changes to my slicing procedures, so does the Slic3r have a plugin?
Being similarily with the photo in the attachment.

Anyone can do this kind of slicing? See the picture.
Why we use uniform slicing only? Is the adaptive slicing a good method?
Thank you!

Hey, guys.
We team make an ormerod and see the pectures. Looks great! But, still some small problems!
Firstly, the nozzle! It seems the nozzle need to be improved, because this one is not a standard part in the market! It's not easy to buy the part.
Secondly, The Z axis is 5mm diameter. If it change to 8mm, it will be more stable.
How do you like it then?

Okay.
Yes.We use Slic3r and Mattercontrol. It seems they are not my choices. But,thanks anyway.

Hey, guys.
I really need your help about the slice.
Does someone know how can I make a picture like the attachment showing?
If you know or you can do it, share with me please! And as a return, You can pick a filament in our website. And I will send you.
Thank you!

Hello,
I printed a revolver from thingiverse:. My printer is prusa i3 with Melzi 2.0 board.I slice my stl file with Cura and print via USB connection from PC to printer. The control software is Repetier Host.
When I print the 1st part, everything is fine. But when I print the 2nd part model(about 4hours needed), the printer broke off suddenly during the printing. I am sure I don't have a wrong o

Hey guys,
I printed a revoler for my friend because he love revolver so much. Actually, I love it too.
I spent a whole day printing this one. So excited. Hope you love it. The model is on thingiverse. You can have a search.
Have fun.

Hello,
It is a good choice to have a prusa i3. Good accuracy,as 0.1mm. And be reliable.
Compare with Delta Robot, Prusa i3 is better to print some good models.
How much does it cost?
Only the outter part is not enough to say it is good. The most important is whether it can print some good models.
-Besh Wishes.

Hi,
Yes go to configuration.h and set the firmware.
Here is a calibration guide.
It should work now.

Hello, you should check your extruding steps per min.
e_steps_per_mm = (motor_steps_per_rev * driver_microstep) * (big_gear_teeth / small_gear_teeth) / (hob_effective_diameter * pi)
And you can see more at the calibration guide

Yeah Agree with 3Dmaker4U. Does it work now? If not, I can send you my firmware to you which works fine with Melzi 2.0.

I used Ramps 1.4 and Melzi 2.0(With Atmel). They are both OK. But I like the latter one more.

If you can provide us a video, it will be much better. Even some pictures are good. And you can have a carefully watching about the extruding.

It seems the problem of board. Does it connect to your PC? The PC should show your a new com(port) with usb wire. Then, if not, you should check the wires connection and the firmware is suitable with your board. Just try to connect the seller and ask for a circuit photo. Take some photoes to the seller.

I am not sure the Marlin frimware is ok or not.Because I use Ramps 1.4 and Melzi 2.0 board.

Hello
It is the firmware. You can set as follows:
Most RepRap printers use a pair of threaded rods for the Z axis. So to calculate how far the Z axis moves for each revolution of the motor, first you need to know how much rotation is being transmitted to the Z rods, and then use the "thread pitch" of the rod (distance-per-revolution) to determine the vertical motion.
The basic formula to calcu

If you make sure that the wires are connected with no problem.
It seems the problem of firmware. You need set a lot.
I can send you our firmware,If you want.

Yeah, the two bigger wires should be connected to the hotend pins. It depends on what kind of board you use.

Hello, It's really weird. It seems the small and big gear doesn't turn, right?
Did you check your extruder wires order connecting to the controller port?
May be you can try a direct extruding...

Hello, I used a 3D scanner named 3D sensor, form 3D System. Not that good.
And I tried another one from China, but I forget the name.
I will share the sanned 3D photo. See the picture.

The extruder part is printed? I used this one design, but finally I give up. Because it is a problem when melting PLA/ABS, the printed part also melting.
If possible, change a acrylic part and mental one. Or finally you change another extruder.

We use a 12V 30A power supply to the ramps and arduino, never meet the problem. I can't give any good advices.

It seems it is not a Bowden. It seems as a direct drive version. And it is a full mental version. I used Bowden only in the Rostock , not in Prusa i3. Maybe you can try a full mental one. It is also a good choice for upgrading....

Hello,
If it only moves in the + direction, it is the problem of endstops seetings in the firmware. In my firmware, the direction to the endstop is the negative direction and without the endstop is the positive direction.
you should set again the firmware.
