I set top & bottom fill = 6.
vertical shell = 4.
Everything ok, except top & bottom & small point (the ears in picture ).
It still have a gaps .

the result is better.
and I use acrylic for painting. But it not good because it not smooth. =)))

I set solid top/bottom layers = 5.
and vertical shell minimum = 3, infill = 20%.
Yes, the other perimeters are good.
maybe I have to set more solid top layers.

Hi all,
I'm newbie,
for few day play around with slic3r, I could print some simple model with good result.
But I have some problem with top layer, and vertical shell.
It not smooth.
You can see in the pictures.
So, how can I config for better result ?

replace new stronger cooling fan

I got the same problem, alway jam after 5-10 minutes running. And after full day check, I done.
It jam because the filament too hot in the tube (above the heater), and made the filament melting, become bigger.
I bought a new cooling fan. 12V, 0.12A, same with the original fan, but I saw it faster, stronger.
After that, my printer work ok

I found my problem.
I change orignal usb cable with new, better usb cable, and everything ok again.

Thank you.
I found the solution.
In mezli board, they set default voltage of stepper motor is too high. (0.8V as I check). And now, I down it to 0.4V, it OK.

I'm very new member, I just bought prusa i3 (with mezli V2 board) from taobao.com, and everything is ok.
But all of the stepper motors is too hot.
How can I down that temprature ?
