I have watched Tom's guide on YouTube, will give it another look as you can always learn something each time you watch something.
My E steps per unit is proper per Tom's method of extruding 100mm of filament. Z height is definitely in the ballpark, by ballpark for 10mm I mean +/-0.2mm.
I agree it looks like over extruder, but what really physically is happening is the nozzle is being moved up

Repetier firmware, with repetier host, slicing with skeinforge...Have autoleveled bed successfully, prints perimeter fine, then infill nozzle is too far above bed and infill becomes beaded, see attached picture. If finish print overall height comes in alright but I believe that is because the ripples from the first 3-5 layers that this happens with finally build up extra height to were the part c

Just to update if anyone has a similar issue. Appears to be I did not have the updates for Z probing in repetier firmware which were just released Jan. 3rd 2016.

I did end up solving this problem, the biggest issue was pin selection on the Z end stop, needed 12V supply so had to move positive, negative leads to a jumper off of main input.

ABS 235 deg C
Direct Extruder, MK7 drive gear, dual nozzle .3mm (not to support material or cooling fan yet, farther than I'd like to be for that)
Heated AL bed 110 deg C
Repetier Firmware (believe newest) and Host V1.6.0 Skeinforge (believe newest)

Hello,
Any ideas/help is MUCH appreciated. This evening I have tried to configure my auto level sensor for Z and have not had success. Printer is an iron 9 x 9, which I have done several upgrades and modifications too. As looking from front of printer X+ to right away from end stop, Y+ towards you away from endstop, Z+ up endstop detects bed (should be min). Ramps 1,4 board. What I have done..

Hello,
Trying to get my reprap up and running. Last week I was trying to take tapper out of the y axis and I turned up the pot to much and fried my arduino board. I have replaced the arduino board and ramps 1.4 board and plugged everything back into the required locations. I was able to successfully download the firmware, and using mattercontrol I am able to connect to the printer, however I
