Okay, thanks! Does'nt sound like rocket science.. I'm afraid that I might have to convert G codes to KRL though...
It's very likey that I'll ask more questions tomorrow.

How many DOF does the robot arm have?
I assume, you don“t apply material only in plain horizontal layers but want to use a 3D head?

... this is normally done with programs capable of "Inverse Kinematics"-calculations.
Then it's as simple as creating the G-codes for a cartesian RepRap-printer, and the I

Hello there!
I'm trying to gather some information on the subject stated in the title.
I'm trying to find a good program that is able to process STL files, before sendig them to the machine. I'm familiar with Materialise Magics for normal 3D-printing, are there any similar programs that can be used for this purpose?
The machine is going to add material to already existing parts. To do this one

Felt so good to toss that old extruder in the spares drawer!!!
Looking forward to tuning up and using my bulldog xl!!!
Sounds really good! Maybe I will buy that if i get more porblems. I solved the problem with the filament getting stuck by the way, just sanded it a bit. But there is still a problem, in the begining of a print, it looks like it has a hard time pushing the fi

Wanted to add I have changed hotend tubes, I even learned how to rebuild them by replacing the ptfe inside them but I have 5 extra tubes, 5 extra nozzles and another complete hotend all brand new and they do nothing to make the chewing of the filament any better. I have tried every setting applicable in slic3r, have calibrated my current for my stepper motor, nothing. I feel thi

I have the exact same extruder on my printer, same yellow printed parts on mine too. I want to point out that the 2 bolts that hold the fan and heatsink on are not present in this picture and it seems the shift you are seeing is because of that. Having said that your extrusion gear does not look alligned, your filiment needs to be centdered on the gear, not at the edge of it. I

The filament gets stuck on the edge of the tube, as you can see. Has anyone else had this problem?
What do you think is the best solution?
Maybe sand the opening of the tube?

Thanks for your fast answer! I will try that.
Do you mean that I should insulate the hot end with a m6x32 washer, as on your picture? Do you think that will make it easier for the extruder to extrude the filament in the right speed, and not like in the movie I sent i my last post?

I think the molten filament gets up through the treads, as you can see on the picture. Is this normal?
Sometimes the extruder extruds too little filament, and seams having a hard time getting the filament out. I'm guessing this is because there are some halfmolten filament that is sticking to the filament that wants to come out.
This is what it should like when this happens:

Hello!
I have some questions..
I'm thinking about getting a kinnect to 3D scan human heads and stuff. How can a "edit" the scan after I have it in my computer ?
Which program should I use for this purpose? I'm thinking about maybe Zbrush.
And a other thing... If I for example want to model an entire head from skratch, which is the best way to do it?
Should I use 3ds max for the general shap

Hello!
Yes, I think I solved it. I reduced the height of the first layer, now it's alright. But today I got an other problem.
Suddenly there is some serious warping going on. What could be the cause? I'm using PLA.
Coud it be a cold spot on the head bed or something? Please check to picture!

I printed this in PLA, with layer height 0.1 on some parts and 0.2 on other parts. I had some problems with wrapping and fittings, but it all worked out fine in the end.
Isn't it glourious?

Look what I made!
I've checked it with a paper, it's good. The thickness of the first layer i 0.4!

first level in the cake was 11 mm, supposed to be 10. level two: 10 mm and level 3: 10 mm.
the first layer is pretty easy to peel of.. are you supposed to do that? Because when I remove it, there is the right heights.

Filament: 1.75 mm PLA
The problem occurs for example when I try to print the goat that I attached to this post, the support under the head wont stick to the glass plate. The hot bed is 65 degress celsius.
One more thing that I've been wondering about is if you are supposed to remove the first layer after the print is done... because I printed a thing that to measure the tolerances. The thing lo

The problem was that the thermistor didnt work, so i changed it! Problem number two also got solved because of this, which is strange.
Now I have started printing a little, the filament wont stick to the hot bed.. If you have any tips to get that working it would be helpful.

Hello!
I just finished the assembly of my aworldnet a602 prusa reprap i3. Now I have connected it to the computer, but there are some problems:
1. There is no 12 V power in the circuit board for the hot bed and for the extruder, but there is 12 V for the fan, I've measured with a voltmeter. I think there may be something wrong with the circuit board.
I've tried to klick on the symbol for the h
