Hi dc42, I'm looking to try out reprap firmware on a delta, mainly very interested the calibration you have in it for delta, is there any tricky bits I need to know, or some walk through, I have googled about it and read thru the installation guide, but a bit confuse as I read here mention radds, there mention duet.
thanks

for some funny reason, it is perfect when it is printing, but when I do manual movement, it does that, I don't know why, and the jam wasn't actually jamming on the hotend, I swapped out the extruder motor and it is now printing fine, very strange but I live with it as long as it prints

hmmm.... this is really weird, I went ahead and give it a test print, watching the nozzle printing across those points, and this time it moved across all points... FLAT :O
how...???
I haven't made any adjustment yet... strange
oh I'm running RADDS + DUE with DRV8825s, repetier firmware and I have linear guides..

I went through that before and all seems ok, I was printing at 0.3mm first layer then 0.1mm there after, but when I print at 0.05mm, thats when I have trouble with this strange leveling, hotend can't extrude at those points and eventually jams, I go through that again and see if I missed something
thanks

wonder if anyone can give me some pointer on this one
here my leveling results

what do I need to alter to sort this out?
it is not a lot of an issue for most print, but I like t

Hello guys, haven't been around for a while, after finishing the project with the full leadscrews printer design I took a few months break from printing and stuff, back to the game and I'm looking for a 32bit board for a Delta to run up to 5 extruders, any suggestions guys on this? I know I can go with the duet and the expansion boards, is there such thing I can use with the most sbase 32bit boar

this is weird, I print this very same thing vertical and works, lay it down flat to print, it jams

been having horrible days with my cyclops, its jamming on PLA if there is any retraction at all, regardless how much its retracting, it will jam, the less I retract, the more times it can retract before jamming, sometimes it jams even with no retraction, the PLA I have is rated 190c to 210c, printing in with in those temp will jam even with no retraction, only way to get it print further now is a

but I have the genuine Due, however I sent it back for testing and found to be faulty, waiting for replacement

are there any other 32 bit board with 3 extruders on board?
been looking around, all I found are dual extruder onboard, other than RADDS which I already have and having some problem with it

how do I check or fix this? or is it a warranty job? do they even replace these boards? I emailed the shop so hopefully get a reply tomorrow

I tested with ramps, everything is working fine, it seems it is either the RADDS board or Due has a problem

I'm using genuine Arduino Due with RADDS and RADDS LCD, been working very well for months, tonight it just reset then E0 temp reads 70.4c to 74c up and down mostly stays around 71c, that reads like that even when I have thermistor plugged out, change it to use second thermistor pin, it reads 200 with or without plugging in the thermistor, tried all the pins and reprogram to it, all reading some t

I'm using repetier as well, only thing I'm doing to get around the short cable is find a good place with enough space and have the lcd case integrated with the radds case together

did you get a longer cable at the end? I could do with a long cable myself

I'm very please with the outcome, there has been many revision and a very long time designing and testing different build
I'll be revising the appearance of the printer but keeping all mechanical exactly the same, and will be produced in transparent red PETG then treat with z-poxy

I am also having the exact same problem, I have radds 1.5 with due using latest repetitive firmware and lcd for radds

I got mine from a local engineering place, these are not chrome, but I'm looking to put it up on kickstarter and there will be option for chrome then, but it is a good idea to run the linear bearings with added lubrication, once theres a layer of grease on them it wouldn't matter, there be optional enclosure as well, I have sourced a manufacturer for acrylic sheets on various thickness, I will be

the higher the microstepping the less torque you going to have, I never used tmc2100 so I couldn't comment on it, I also hear a lot about drv8825 not as good with the current,
heres a review of the tmc2100 I watched

only thing left I can think of to try is lower the micro stepping to 1/4 instead of 1/16, the less micro stepping the more repeatable position, you will need to change the step per mm in firmware
