I just like them a lot since they solved my issue, and btw the noise is gone.

Its not 1 A! Just search before complaining about.
Its 1.2 A RMS wich equals about 1.7 A Imax

As you said, remove your jumpers on the board, dont solder cfg1-3 pins on the driver (remove them with pliers before soldering), and cross a wire from cfg1 to gnd.

Its totally easy to wire the config, just one wire across the cfg1 pin to GND . Just search for the documentation of the silentstepstick.
You may use 24V since then the drivers will run smother and with less noise.

Just use the Silentstepstick and they will be gone. Btw with these the noise is although gone.

I mean the "annual rings" that look linke layers in X and Y direction

If its been the extruder gear the effect would be related to the extruded distance and be constant on this, regardless of the direction. As seen its not related since the effekt doesn't take place on straight lines.
May my motor inductance is to low? Which kind of motors are working @ 24V with the hack? Would give it a try and exchange them.

Made the diode mod.... no changes. Must be something mechanical.
If you say of center, do you mean exentrical on extruder shaft or not aligned with the PTFE?
btw tge diodes reach easy 60-70°C... normal?

it is so damn periodical...
I first tought it would be the smootg idler pulley but after changint it to a teethed one its still the same.
Are the 5400 are rated @ 50V and the 5404 are not available now at my local store :-(

I tried some A4988 yesterday and the problem is still there... seems only a little bit smoother. Even the decay mod on both the A4899 and DRV8825 wont help.
Mechanical seems to be fine, I'll excahange the PU belt to a rubber one in case this is the problem.

1N5400 should do the trick as well, am I right?
Will this hack work with A4988 as well?

thank you very much! that were the info I needed!
Should some A4988 be better in this case? Will they have the same dacy problem or will they be different?

could someone explain the diode mod? what are the specs that will influence the number of diodes? I'm on 24V with 42shd0217-24b motors and as suspected drv8825 driver.

What could cause this symthoms?
After raising the motor current (max 1.5) to 1.4 it looks a bit better.
I tried several settings, 1/16 vs 1/32 steps, toothed idler pulley, several acc and jerk settings.
Currently I'm on PU/steel GT2 belt, may this could be the issue?

my solution is two epoxi bonded 3mm alu plates. would like to upload a picture but I'm on mobile and its currently to big.

Could someone tell me what this is?
Doesnt look like a z-wobble imho.
Printed in vase mode with 0,05 layer in the bottom.
Speed is about 20 mm/s.
PETG 220°C
Modified Geeetech Prusa i3 X

Another issue I found was the play in the right z-axis. make sure you push it a little bit down on the x mounting points so the rod wont be at a dead play spot.
make sure your x belt tension wont block the z axis in this way.

I found the issue!
Its related to the z-axis coupling, just loosen the lower part and push the flexible aluminium against the motor, so the M8 rod will touch the motor shafts with some constant pressure from the aluminium couplings.

hi,
I got some hardened steel rods which are polished as well.
The bearings are no bearings anymore, they are some RJ4JP bushings. If I measure without the aluminim plate/heatbed right onto the carriage, its perfect aligned.

Hi,
I got exact the same problem!
My corner #2 wont fit anyway, I brought a precision alu plate to conquer this issue, but nothing changed.
If I try to level in, the whole part 15 will bend and the bushings will block.
I dont know any solution jet.
May there is a hidden missalignment caused by the damn acrylic cuts.
