Hi, in my case, first layer perfectly stick, but get "waves" like in the first post
Hi friend, I will try to help you.
Have you tried to...
1) increment the pololus voltage? (only for the extrusor step motor)
2) strech the extrusor's spring?
3) increase temperature?

Thats a nice extruder, exactly what i use. Make sure you adjust the tensioner bolt so that the brass toothed wheel bites into
the filament enough so it does not slip.
Heat the bed and nozzle, then move the nozzle to centre of the bed and at Z0 you should have about a 'fag' paper distance between nozzle and bed(adjust Z home if nessesary)
With layer height set at 0.2mm, set initial laye

Geeetech uses the cheapest, crappiest plastic extruder head. Just take a look at the geeetech forum complaints about under extrusion.
If its the mk8 plastic extruder head check the tension of the arm, if the spring is weak, add shimies to compress it more. If its the heavy duty spring, dissassemble the extruder head and examine for cracks. Mine came with a heavy duty spring whic

I just built a Geeetech Prusa i3 A pro, should be about the same printer and I'm going to design a fan duct soon for a blower fan but unless you use the same fan it might not work. You can check thingiverse as well.

Gracias.

I have also purchased a prusa i3 pro b kit from Geeetech and my prints started to look EXACTLY as yours.
I was "shocked" when I saw this post and the picture because it looked to be nearly an exact copy of a picture I caputred.
So, what to do?
I Googled and there was always answers like "level your bed", check the height of the nozzle ot the bed.
But I had already been printing se

The extrusion width is a setting in the slicer used to specify the width of the extruded filament, it can be set manually or automatically, for a 0.4 nozzle the auto mode will set it at 0.48, in manual you can set it to any value that the nozzle can effectively extrude although it is recommended to set it higher than the nozzle size.
For a nozzle size of 0.4 the maximum layer heig

Ok, need some more info:
Nozzle size
Layer height
Extrusion width
Extrusion multiplier
While printing, does the extruder clicks, misses steps, or chew up the filament?
Are you printing from computer or SD card? Have you tried both with same results?
While printing your hotend temperature fluctuates a lot or is quite stable?
Are you using auto bed leveling?

Ok, lets move to the next steps:
What material are you using, what temperatures and what speed?
Are you using an old filament, a new one, did you switched supplier?
The problem began while using the same material or as you switched to a different material/supplier?
Have you test different speeds and temperatures and have the same result?
Have you slice the part again or with an

Now that I saw the printer, I suspect it is your hotend PTFE liner the one causing the problems.
Lift your Z axis all the way up, heat up your hotend and remove the filament and nozzle, once removed let it cool down and take a look at the white tube inside the stainless steel pipe, if deformed, burnt signs or melted filament in the threaded section of the heat block, replace it wit

Use a feeler gauge to set the height of your print nozzle rather than a sheet of paper. Remove the 0.10 mm gauge from the set before using it. You can get one of these from most automotive parts stores.
Check your head. Is it loose? If it is moving in directions it is not supposed to, tighten or replace parts that cause unwanted movement.
Check your Y-axis. Is it loos

Your first layer is WAY too high off the build plate.
Layer height 0.2
First layer height 0.35
Should I change First layer height to 0.2?

I have news!
I don't know what you mean with direct drive, Bowden or waves... But the filament is perfectly smooth.
I tried to print a 20x20x20 cube and this the result is awesome:
TOP:
BOTTOM:
The bottom and the top isn`t acceptable but the body is perfect!
This is with 0.2 layer height, when I put 0.4 layer height (to get faster printing) It's again a disaster... ¿Any solutions?

What extruder system are you using?
I don't know what do you mean with "Extruder system" but I have a MK8 extruder, the 3D printer is a Prusa i3 ProB from Geeetech.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and in the world of 3D printers. First of all sorry for my bad English.
I just set up a Prusa i3 and is perfectly calibrated, the problem comes when printing for a few seconds and then stops printing materials extrude and again start printing...
Here you have a picture of the result. I've tried changing the settings, bed and extruser temperatura, the nozzle diameter (le
