Printing issues ...
printing only layer 1 - 2 years ago
I've been printing for about a year(since I started and got hooked on to 3d printing) and then took a break due to personal reasons. I now tried to print with Repetier (with Slic3r) as I always did, but now I only see the first layer in my preview. Sometimes I see only the first and last layer. So if i slice and print, it shows 1st layer, then prints nothing in space, and then tries to print lasby markcars - Printing

Can a maxtemp error show if a board has a problem? i connected my thermister, and see a maxtemp error. When I short the thermistor, it shows 0 degrees celcius. Without the thermister, shows 500 degrees. with the thermsiter, or a 100k resistor, it shows about 470 degrees. I changed the power supply by thinking maybe the power was not enough (was testing with a 800ma PS). i fried the boby markcars - Printing
