Hi,
It might sound stupid, but check that your extruder nozzle is not too close to the bed when you heat it up, as the extruder's fan can cool off the bed at the beginning...specially true if your power supply is too limited in current.

Hi there,
We currently have a free sample promotion going on at DustnPrint,
We have linked our website with instagram, for complete reviews by independent printers.
Please have a look, you can try it and see for yourself if it is useful or not.

Try printing it with a cooling fan set at 40%, see if it is better.

Hi,
We have a DnP user, Francois, that was very nice into providing 4 shorts videos on he applies and uses DustnPrint on a creality with a glass bed. **He told us he needed to boost the bed in order to be able to go up to 110oC. **
The method Francois applies the DnP is new to us, and we cannot wait to try it out, seems much easier than the ones we use...which is good .
We wish to thank him fo

Hi Welo78,
Have you tried dis-assembling the extruder and looking how the filament jammed?
On the Prusa MK3 we changed the extruder fan for a bigger, higher CFM one at 24VDC (we wired it directly to 24VDC and it is always fully on). The issue we encountered is that the filament would not be cooled fast enough and would still be soft inside the pre-extruder.
As you go faster in print and higher

Hi,
Some users asked us on our website how we removed our used PEI sheet along with its adhesive from the metal plate, we though of sharing it with everyone, so here is the link to our blog:

Hi FA-MAS,
Hope all is well on your end with the DustnPrint.
We have update a video showing how to use a spatula to apply the DnP uniformly on the bed

We have not tested yet DustNPrint (www.dustnprint.com) at such high temperature since we are not equipped with such a printer, however, we will plan to test it in the coming weeks with the guys from aon printing (https://www.aon3d.com/)
We will let you know how it goes, if still interested.

Thanks again Fa-mas for your quick reply, have you tried increasing the bed temperature?
The higher the bed temp the higher the DnP adhesion.

Hello FA-MAS!
First of all, thanks a lot for your thorough feedback, it is much appreciated!
From what we see on the pictures and videos it looks like there is a lot of DnP and from what we found out, when you see a “crust” when pulling out the part, it means there is too much.
As you pointed out, re-brushing off the DnP on the bed will re-activate its adhesive properties, and you can keep on pr

Hi Famas,
_____
Have a chance to test this out and am applying it now. Am I mistaken or is the green powder scented to smell like mint?
Yes sir, as DnP is not polymer based, we wanted to add a more natural smell to it. We are still exploring other color/flavor arrangements too.

Hi PDBeal,
What requirements should a 3D Print Adhesive for ABS try to accomplish:
Wrap free parts Easiness to remove printed Part Repeat-ability of results, no tuning required between prints Invariant to least amount of external factors Fast Setup No Fumes, toxic vapors or others Least Expensive for number of prints
We came up with DustnPrint to meet these requirements the best based on t

Hi FA-MAS,
Thank you for your order, it will be shipped tomorrow,
The claim of 85 bed treatments stem from the fact than instead of cleaning out the solution after each print, you can just leave it on the bed and brush it off a bit (a bit like Bob Ross used while painting the background ), while adding a small amount of new DnP each time (sometimes you do not even need to).
We shipped in 2 bags,

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. You have brought a good point, and maybe I have got misunderstood.
The PEI works for ABS for few prints, if you print the same part over and over, after as few as 4,5 prints, the PEI's adhesive tends to un-stick on the part boundary, decreasing the effectiveness of the overall PEI sheet. The part will not have a straight, flat surface anymore.
If your PEI sheet is

Hi,
We have made a small video on our website that explains how the DnP is applied to the metalic bed plate on the Prusa MK3, for those of you interested, please visit www.dustnprint.com
This could be a future solution for those wishing to keep their Prusa MK3 bed. I will post a link on how to remove efficiently the PEI from the Prusa bed.
If you have any comments, or questions, let us know,

Hi Roberts,
Congratulations for your printed part, it really looks amazing!!
From our own experience, blue tape will work for smaller parts, things begin to get tricky when the parts are bigger, larger, and taller (and it depends on the part itself, how lateral tensions are created within the part + infill).
The nozzle temperature (130 C) seems a bit too low for ABS...

Hi There,
It took us 1h35min to print the whole part.
We have used Cura not Slic3r. If you download the Cura profile we posted in the forum, you can adapt it for PLA.
You can leave a bigger gap between the model and your supports but you need to print in higher resolution than 0.3mm for instance.
I will look into Slic3r, maybe some day next week,
Cheers,

Hi,
We have attached a Cura Profile that can easily be tuned to print ABS using the PRUSA MK3.
The layer height of the attached Cura profile is set a 0.3 mm.
We believe it is a very good starting profile for printers wishing to use ABS for their parts.
Hope this will be helpful,

Hi,
Not sure if you were able to print your helix.
We gave it a try and printed it in ABS,
As you can see, we decided to print the part horizontally, requiring few supports only. The helix was sliced in Cura, I will create a post with Cura settings for ABS, you will be able to tweak the values.
The resolution can be increased, we have used 0.3 mm layer height, but you can print it at 0.1mm

Hi,
The package weights about 25 grams (0.88 ounces).
We haven't use any enclosure, it was printed directly open air (room temperature at 24 degrees Celsius).
We rarely use an enclosure, only if the components are very very tall...
In order to clean the bed, only clothe with water will do the trick.
You can check the website as we are pushing the updates on it with all information.

Hi,
We are working on the website as we speak and will update all the missing information. Basically, on a normal Prusa MK3 you can print for at least 20 prints minimum if you wash the bed after each print, but if you wish, you can just add a bit of water to the solution already on the bed and brush it off, we had people printing 40 times using the same surface, they bought one bag and printed n

Though I added some pictures of an ABS box we printed,
It can get tricky to print a nice box out of ABS, specially without enclosure.
The following box was printed using the DustnPrint for the bed adhesion (www.dustnprint.com), on a PRUSA mk3 without any PEI (directly onto the metal sheet).
If you have any questions, or perhaps suggestions or need some tips about ABS printing, just pos

Hi,
It is now possible to print directly on the metal plate of the PRUSA MK3 (by removing the PEI sheet, and cleaning the adhesive).
We have many years of experience in printing with ABS mainly for industrial products designed in the company. Over the years, due to lack of good solutions against the ABS wrapping, we have come up with a totally new powder that mixes with water. The homogeneous s
