Just checked and you are right the hole on the j-head is not in the middle so won't line up, I just order another one but at this time from amazon so I can send back if doesn't work

I did change the config file and now rotates faster but I have a really hard time to fit the filament into the j-head, I had to take a part feed the filament by hand and then put it back, real pain comparing with my direct drive which was easy to replace the filament, could be my Chinese J-head sucks? If so which I should use?

I just replaced my direct extruder with a Wade's extruder but the motor runs too slow, I have a feeling I need to change the configuration but I can't find any info, I have a Prusa i3.

The MOSFETs would be the issue, if you are in Europe you may buy good quality ramps - I did buy 1 from Spain and was great and buy the genuine Arduino which is Italian, I believe those 2 pieces are the most important on your project. I burned my arduino board when I dropped a small wrench and landed perfectly between the ramps and the arduino, I though the ramps was the problem so I had a moment

Almost everything is made in China so buying from China or buying from someone here is almost the same except the seller already bought the parts from a Chinese seller
Buy a genuine Arduino board (Italy) from Amazon, I bought a ramps board from Spain (https://www.tindie.com/) and the quality was 10000% superior for the ones I bough at amazon and ebay and cost me only $25, rods buy from a Americ

I have the same problem but the endstop works, checked with M119 and shows open or triggered when I press the switch but will not stop the z-axis.

Okay I redo the configuration file and I realized I missed a few settings from the old config but now my Z - always the damn Z endstop will not stop the movement of the axis, typed M119 and says triggered (I checked with my finger and changes from open to triggered) again something wrong with my config file. That's my config file and if someone can take a look and see whats wrong, I have a feelin

Yes and I'm going to redo the file again and try with a brand new cheap looking arduino and ramps board I just got it.

One thing I found out is when I upload the new firmware my z-axis runs slow but soon I upload the old version that came with the printer works fine.

I checked that as well and the funny thing is if I type G28 the z axis moves normally but anything else I do like g29 or trying to raise my z and is slow as hell besides if I hit 10 mm moves maybe 3 or 4 mm. I ordered another ramps just in case because when the printer was printing my "Picasso art" did a lot of pressure against the extruder and the board was buzzing with a red light flashing.

Finally I got my auto leveling to work and I start the printer to print a gear, because was still cold I left from my garage and I completely forgot about it, ok big spaghetti chunk of plastic because my hot end start printing in the air, so I still have to play with auto leveling calibration.... but my Z axis now moves damn slow and if I hit 10 mm only moves a few mms, replaced the stepper drive

I did watch and followed the 3 videos but didn't work, I think the arm from auto leveling I download is too short and thats the reason hits the glass after homing I found another one which I'm going to print and I will try everything from that video again.

Where you got the aluminum plates? They look way better than the acrylic.

Ok the problem is my ramps (mosfest I'm guessing), I pull the power connector from the ramps and installed on the original ramps that came with my kit and works fine, the only thing now I need to get to work is auto leveling which I tried every config file I found on the net and doesn't work.

When I type G29 after I typed G28 I get this:
echo:Home X/Y before Z
Eqn coefficients: a: 0.15 b: 0.00 d: -0.00
planeNormal x: -0.15 y: -0.00 z: 1.00

the mosfets i have are IRF3205 and i have another ramps with P55NF06 which the power connector burned out (the wires coming from the power supply).
