Does anyone know how I can test my RAMPS board? I plug in the power and the light comes on the power supply but I'm not getting any indication that the RAMPS board is getting power?
I can't seem to get any reading from the stepper drivers. Is there a way to check if the RAMPS board is shot?
Thanks

Ok I have made it to the point where I can plug this in and set the stepper drivers to correct V-ref. Before I plug it in can anyone give this picture a look and
say if it looks like it is wired up correctly? I would like to avoid frying something if someone can spot something that is not correct.
Also I see on the google docs page there is two firmware files. Kossel RevB and Kossel RevBPE can

Seems like theres something wrong there. The belts shouldnt touch the corner brackets
Thats what I thought. I checked the instructions and it all seems correct. I'm wondering if there is something I don't know about. It seems like the pulley in the upper frame is to far towards the outside
or the slider is not thick enough. Not sure what the issue is.

I have installed my slider belts and i'm not sure if I need to adjust something. The belts do not completely slide along the inside part of where it attaches to the slider. I adjusted
the lower toothed pulley out as far as I could but it looks like the belt will be touching the corner bracket that holds the frame together. Is this setup ok or is there something I should adjust?

Thanks for the reply's folks this is helpfull. I found a connector. On a side note, my power cord is not color coded except for the green ground wire.
How can I tell what side to connect to neutral and what side to connect to power?

So I think I'm missing a connector. The directions say "For the thermistor wires we need to wire them to a connector. Strip the end of the wire back approximately half and inch and
repeat the process for the short pig tale wire that came in your kit." I dont have a connector to do that with.
Did anyone else have this issue and what did you

Ok a few questions for you. The instructions and pictures dont match up all the time and I would like to know what way id correct for the wiring.
This picture DSC00178.JPG and this picture DSC00179.JPG on the google docs page show the Inductive sensor blue wire connected to two different
places on the power supply. The instructions say Brown = 12v, Blue = Ground and Black = Signal So I'm guessi

Quick question for you. Can anyone tell me if this wiring looks correct? The instructions has different writing on the circuit board then
the one I have. I'm just trying to make sure I'm setting this up correctly before I put power on it.
My sliders fit very tight on the vertical uprights. I'm not sure how tight they should fit but I have to push that last wheel onto the
rail pretty hard. I'm w

Should I be worried about this? My sliders all seem to be reversed compared to the install instructions. Will this effect the printer and or the parts that attach to it?

Folger doesn't have any bearing on what will work or not . . . the Kossel 2020 is bone stock Marlin and RAMPS1.4, so if the display works with that pair, it works with the printer . . .

I understand that - i am asking about LCD touchscreens and if anyone has one - suggestions or experiences.

Does anyone know when or what I use the tensioner bolts in the sliders for? The directions say they will be use later but it never gets to it in the Rev B draft insturctions.

Well I received my kit today, yay. Now I'm going to inventory all the parts. Does anyone have a complete parts list for the current build? I have seen that some people were missing some of the bolts
and I would like to get a jump on what I will need if I dont have it. I'm guessing the Rev B build PDF is not up to date.
Well I'm short a bunch of T-nuts and the m3-20 bolts. I went to home depot an

It lives! Using the latest Repeiter firmware and host, with Slicr doing the slicing inside of Repeiter. Pretty much all defaults at this point. These are the first prints after a rough calibration. 10mm cube came out a little rectangular (9.5mm x 10.2mm) and I need to recal with the bed and hotend heated to account for expansion (first layer was really squished). One other thing I noticed on my Rev B is very sticky sliders. Turns out two of my three carriages seem a bit narrow, causing the adjustable tension wheel to tilt and the post to rub against the 2020 beam. I filed a flat in the post to clear the beam and things are better, but they are still really tight on the beam (even the "good" one). These are all shots without any tension on

I think you are having an issue with retraction speed and/or length. Try turning off retraction on layer change to see if that helps.
You can change min travel after retraction to a larger number like 15 to test
You should read this thread it is very similar.

I'm in the market to buy a Delta DIY kit and thought I would ask everyone what they think a good kit is that has good printing size and fine resolution?
Quality control and customer service are as important as the quality of the printer.
Thanks

Here is an update for anyone thinking about buying this kit. It has been 3 days since receiving the wrong kit in the mail and I have not heard anything from Folger. I tried calling but no answer. I left a message but have not heard anything. Not sure what to do from here other then calling the authorities. So disappointing that a seemingly pretty good printer kit is undermined by CS and poor qual

Got my Rev B kit today, ordered last Sunday (8/16). Everything was well packed, no missing parts. Printed parts look OK and the corners are using M4x10mm bolts and T-Nuts (I think someone mentioned they got M3 earlier in this thread). There's still the angle issue with the metal corners, but it's not hard to get everything fitted together loosely and t

Thanks cman8, That confirms what I was thinking but since I don't know what should be in a kossel kit I couldn't tell for sure. I'm so angry at this point I'm not sure I want anything to do with Folger
other then a refund. Can I use any of these parts on the kossel if I still want it?
On a side note anyone else getting a 502 bad gateway for these forms today?

I just received my kit and I'm extremely disappointed. Apparently they still cant pack and ship this product correctly. I have no metal corners, I have no carbon fiber rods, no packing list so I have no idea what should be in the box or not. The shipping label says "Rev A" and I ordered Rev B. I think somebody mixed the parts for the kossel and the I3. Some of the packages are not labeled at all.
