@Roger
You should insert the snippet in the file "ui.h" after #endif // Controller 5 (and before #if FEATURE_CONTOLLER>0)

If you don't mind, you can upload your Configuration.h (Attach a file > Choose File > Attach).
I'll compare (OS X > FileMerge) your configuration with mine.

Check the MAX_LENGTH. Here are the default settings:
// maximum positions in mm - only fixed numbers!
// For delta robot Z_MAX_LENGTH is maximum travel of the towers and should be set to the distance between the hotend
// and the platform when the printer is at its home position.
// If EEPROM is enabled these values will be overidden with the values in the EEPROM
#define X_MAX_LENGTH 165

Check the Endstop configuration in Configuration.h.
Try without MAX_HARDWARE_ENDSTOP_Z.
Example with 3 min mechanical endstops (Pullup true):

I don't know much about the Printrbot, but generally the baudrate is set by the board you choose in Tools>Board.
Did you use the Arduino IDE for your Printrbot/Board?

Did you get an error message in Repetier-Host?
Check Configuration.h:
MIN_DEFECT_TEMPERATURE -10
MAX_DEFECT_TEMPERATURE 300
If you see "Printer set into dry run mode until restart!", the sensor temp is < MIN_DEFECT_TEMPERATURE or > MAX_DEFECT_TEMPERATURE.

Software and Firmware are up-to-date
Which Version are you using? Repetier-Host ? Repetier-Firmware ?
Operating System: Windows 7, XP... or OS X? or ?
Controller: Arduino/RAMPS? or other?
Extruder? Thermistor type?
Did you check the EPROM Settings in Repetier-Host?
You can test the endstops using M119 (Get Endstop Status)
Upload your Configuration.h (Attach file, Choose, Attach)

Within the hour I had the menu working, complete with encoder.
For now I'm sticking to Repetier.
Now on with the finishing of the hardware.
(that can't be difficult,right?)
Which FEATURE_CONTROLLER did you set? I suppose 2 = Smartcontroller from reprapdiscount on a RAMPS or RUMBA board?

... I've set xmin = -95 and xmax=95, this is also valid isn't it?
However sanityCheck changes the value from 95 to 190!
Edit:
I think there are - at least on my Mac (Repetier-Host Mac 0.56) - cases, the input data are not stored. This may be the issue.

The next version reloads settings after applying
them, so you see all changes from sanity checks.
Okay, I put some imprudent settings just to see what happens, something is curios with sanitycheck, see attachment

Some Forum members are willing to try to help other members. If you specify your issue and make it easy to help you, that will be useful.
Long post with Configuration.h text are time-consuming and you will not find members to help you.

... it seems to me to be confusing. The value is overwritten and stored in the file "repetier.Repetier-Host-Mac.plist" but the user is not informed about this change and he will see the changed value only by starting Repetier-Host again.
Suggestion:
Instead of overwrite the value I would show a message to inform the user, so he can correct the value in "Printer settings".

There is a function called "sanityCheck" that overwrites the value. I'm investigating and I'll soon post more.

When did you download the Marlin-Firmware? They change the source code almost every day.
