It seems that rapman printer does not support slic3r gcode.
everything seems fine but the print head goes to the right at slow speed until it can go.
It seems that the printer does not support E values in G1.
Do you have a BitsFromBytes rapman printer as well?

My error, sorry. It seems to be working now.
I had a character in the file name that the machine did not accept.
I must try all options before posting.
EDIT:QuoteAre you sure you have your Y axis moving in the right direction?
yes It moved the the print head from right front starting position to the right very slowly. There is something wrong with the settings. Ill review that.

I have a rapman 3.1 and it seems that slic3r do not work with it but skeinforge does. It refuses the slic3r gcode.
There are diferences in gcode:
Skeinforge uses the code M108 to define extruder speed for each step of the print.

I would like to suggest new features but I can only do that if I can get the plugin without having to register in another site.
Can you post the versions in an open site. I do not know were, can anybody suggest a place were each version can be uploaded.
Thanks.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second step: assign filaments and temperatures to extruders
Open the Plater tab. You'll notice two (or more) dropdown menus near Filament, in the center. You can assign filament presets to each extruder there.

I have slic3r 0.9.8 and I cannot or do not know how assign a filament to an extruder. Or in other words, how to make extruder 1 at 260 degrees and extruder 2 at 220 degrees?

what is the point of having several extruders if we cannot modify filament and print settings to each extruder?
We do use different filaments on each extruder that require different settings.
