Well noticed!
(edit: I have not found the CuraEngine settings in gcode)
Here is Slic3r settings:

It's hard to tell what's going on without knowing what settings you used...
Slic3r has a TON of settings, I can SS every page but it will take a long time, if you tell me the key ones I will go directly on them, I'm newbie in this so I really do not understand all yet, I believe these are the key ones so I'm advancing it, I have played with these setting, specially the "

Slic3r
Hello, can someone tell me how to get a slice using the Slic3r similar to the result of the Cura?
Slic3r is giving me this horrible result, it's "eating" a lot of details, I no longer know what to adjust.
I am using both by Repetier Host.
Thank you.

Ok, I will try to set it to relative, retract, take the photo, extrude back, set to absolute again then resume.
Thanks for the help.

Nice, I found it right now! I think this is a better idea.
Can you help me?
It is a good idea to do this?
There is any problem I can have?
It is better to set Slic3r to use all in relative or do I leave absolute as it looks "more default" then when making the photo I set relative, retract, take the photo, then extrude back and set absolute back?
Thank you.

Thanks for your answer, but by now I just want to retract the filament, how can I do this?
There is a way to put filament movement in relative mode?
After that do I need to specify it back to absolute mode? As looks like my slicer uses it absolute mode.

Printing
Hello people.
I'm trying to make a timelapse of the printing.
My idea was, every layer change I add a gcode to:
1. move extruder out of the way and always in same position.
2. move bed to the full front.
3. control a small servo to click my camera shutter
4. wait some seconds
then continue printing.
It worked nicely, but, when it is waiting the camera shot the extruder oozes, when printing resu

That is the problem, it is not a kit, I chose a model from the internet, ordered the parts, my friend printed the printable parts for me and I'm assembling it, so, I have no clue on what kind of spring I should use and all info I can get from mine are this compression measured in a scale.
The Z moves up and down when the extruder retracts, so, it changes its direction a little more than just laye

Dear friends, I have a problem with my printer.
I recently mounted a machine, in fact I am still mounting it but it is already working, it is a model similar to Prusa Mendel I2.
When I was trying to print ABS I had a serious problem, the heat was softening my X carriage (it is actually severely bent), I was able to print another carriage apparently a superior model but I'm still afraid that it wi

The Z steps looks 99,9% ok.
About the Z springs, I need some help from you.
I dont understand much about springs, so I have "weighed" it, I put it in a scale and compressed the same much as when installed, the one I as using is around 500g, is it ok?
I have other one but it is 700g, I can cut it if I know how much I need but I dont have a clue! Over internet it just says the diameter and lenght,

I'm using 75% (0.4mm nozzle with 0.3mm layer height), this is correct?
Also, I have fine adjusted the extruder recently (steps/mm).
This is same as I tought, the Z looks clean in the print, maybe the spring is not the problem but I will change it anyway.
I never dealed with jerk, dont even know what it does but I will try to learn something about it, thanks for the indication.
Thank you

Hmmmmm I think I got your idea Shank Man.
I will try change that springs and see what happens, thank you.
I didnt know which type of spring to use and saw a video saying to compress it to make it very tight, so tought a strong spring would be better.
Anyways, looks like my spring is not hard as yours.
I'm attached 2 images, what do you think about the problem and overal print quality?
Thank you

Do your Z-screws turn easily using your hands? There might be some binding there. What kind of anti-backlash springs did you use? The Z travel should be exact just like the X & Y.
Do your Z-screws turn easily using your hands?
I believe yes.
I dont believe it is losing steps, I cant see any layer inconsistency in the printed part.

Greetings.
Recently assembled a 3d printer (similar to Prusa Mendel I2), I have done some prints.
Yesterday I was doing my first test with ABS, I was able to print, the piece has printed nicely in the second try.
When measuring, in X and Y sizes the value conferred very well, but in Z I had practically 1mm of difference for less, the piece should have 14.5mm but it was 13.5mm.
I checked again the
