In Slic3R, I notice it does full speed perimeters across open spans but slows down for the bridging. This means rarely do the perimeters span all the way across without an issue. Isn't spanning across any open space be at briging speed and not perimeter speed?

I tried pause for the first time tonight and noticed very weird behaviour. The feed rate is so low that it barely moves after I click on continue after it was paused. Why is that?

When you cancel a print, the heater is turned off immediately however it may be some time before the current operation is complete and therefore the extruder is sitting there clicking away trying to push filament thru a cooling nozzle.
Is there a way the heater can be turned off "after" the print cancelled and before it goes into it's park position?

This would be awesome. I sure miss being able to do that.

Two questions please;
Which file are the thermister tables in. I want to verify my 100K hermistor values are the same as the ones your using.
Is there a place we can enter a Z offset in the host software that would allow us to compensate if we are using glass or not or even fine tune where Zero is in releation to the home switch.
Example: Print bed with no glass plate, home is at the surface

Did you find anything out regarding the SD card filename issue? Filenames display fine when compiled with Arduino 0023 but when compiled with 1.0 they are the Numerals instead of letters.
Thanks,

Fluid Film is some great stuff. I haven't had a spot of rust on any of my machines since I started using it !!

No, I wasn't using the quotes but that wasn't exactly the path I had. My fault, I did have a space in the config path. Sorry.

I'm not sure I follow what your saying? Not any spaces in the following path: "C:\Slic3r\config.ini"

G92 - 12 years ago
In the latest version 036B G92 X0Y0Z0 does not zero any of the DRO's/Coordinates in the host. It did clear Y on the previous version.

Again, I'm liking the work your doing here - Awesome!
Windows XP
I downloaded the new host today and tried some of the new features of the External Slic3R. I set the path to Slice3r and to the config.ini.
Anytime I try to click on External Slic3R Configuration I get Error - Unable to find config file.
I moved the config.ini down to the root folder and browsed to the ini file "C:\Slic3r\config.i

What do wee need to do to get filenames on the SDCard to display properly when using the Arduino 1.0 IDE & Libs? Instead of letters the filenames are digits. Something regarding the behavior of print has been changed and it needs to be changed to .write in the SDFatUtils.h file.
Also, what is different about the SD libs included in the repetior folder in regards to the "factory" SD files t

Okay, I understand the color isn't that important. The Oddity that G92 X0 Y0 Z0 will reset the Y axis to Zero by itself but the other 2 have to be zero'ed with @isathome. Just curious why the Y seems to update to zero and not the others.

Thanks
Not using @isathome, if I have all my axis showing 100, and I issue a G92 X0 Y0 Z0 then the Y Axis will show zero in read, but X and Z still show 100. So for some reason Y is being changed on Host but not X and Z.
Then entering @isathome X and Z go to zero (in black) and Y is zero in Red.
I don't know if that will affect anything it's just odd behavior.

That is what I initally tried but my coordinates in Repetier Host do not change to Zero unless I actually press the home Key.

Can I manually set the home positions with Repetier? In other words, jog each axis to where I want them to be considered home and then Zero each axis without the machine trying to go to home? (No home switches).

Ahh, tie the green wire from the ATX power supply to the PS-ON terminal on the ramps board so that the PC can send M80 to turn the power on.
Cool, works great.

I not finding any information on the D12 - PS-ON terminal. I'm guessing this is for power supply on/off control?
Can it be hooked up to a PC Power Supply to turn it on and off?
