I added a raspberry pi to me Folger tech printer running octiprint. I mounted a 3.5 touch screen display running touchui so I can control it with out logging into web page. The problem is my axis are all screwed up. I move left it goes up etc. I have tried the directions to calibrate that came with the touch screen:
With no luck, I think that it is pulling the calibration from somewhere else b

So i went back to my non working 2020 kossel replaced the heatbrake with a pte lined one, reprinted the original sensor holder, and replaced a faulty power supply, moves much better now. I am setting up the calibration and working on the z-probe off set. position according to repitier is 100 x 100 y and 2 z. I am unable to move beyond 100 in x or y I can go negitive then move back though (i.e. I

I have yet to print with mine. I got a E3dv6 clone so it does not fit with the sensor. So I played with tinker cad made a holder that would bolt onto the 30mm fan since the E3 has the clip on cooling fan, well now my sensor hits my arms. I have a Wanhoa I3 (clone) to print parts with. I am beginning to think about just removing the inductive sensor so I can use the printer.

The stock nozzle that came with my kit has been clogging on every print. I am thinking I should replace it with one of these thoughts?
Same problem here. I am looking into getting a hot end with a sleeve to see if it will work any better (at all I should say). I have verified my temperature, checked my extruder feed and have yet to be ab

I used a 15k and 10k resistors. Power supply putting out 11.25 will adjusted it tomorrow and use the odds and ends to try to get to 5 volts. So 3.25 may be to low to trip endstop.
Well with using two 10k ohms resistors i was able to get 7.25 volts. The probe is now tripping the end stop.
When i go to set my z probe offset i get 30 in the y but I also get 15 in the x. The directions show only

I have been stuck on setting up the inductive sensor. I have blue to power supply -, brown to power supply +, on the black signal wire I have a 15k ohm resistor inline from black signal wire from the sensor sensor with a 10k ohm resistor T in after the 15k on it's way back to my board. When I measure the signal wire I have 12 volts with the light on the sensor off an 0 with it on. I have the MK

I've tried the x end stop plugged into the last spot and the one beside it (min and max). When I hit the home button the stepper twitches a little then locks in place. It's the last thing holding us up we have everything else ready to go. And as far as the x stepper plug itself the board is labled and I have tried another board i have here so it's a software issue/endstop.

I hope someone can help. My friend just purchased this machine and built it but we can not get the x-axis to move. I have placed it on the Y axis of the ramps board to test it and it works fine there. I tried another ramps adrino board with the same result. I have changed direction from 1 to -1. m119 shows x-max trigged. Can any one help?

Thanks for the help guys I have my print centered now. Though my Y axis seems to have changed - and + directions and I have no clue why. My X axis stop was also not in the right spot. But it is centered now I need to change the print size down to 180x180 and I am also going to do a rework of my bed. The bas plate is off level I think and I have a new black PCB heater for it.

Can anyone shed some light on how I center my bed better? It acts like I need to mount the endstop farther back but how? Maybe these pictures will help:

I just tried a "larger" print a case for the smoothieboard for the delta I am building but when I try to print it the printer runs off the back of the bed!! I tried changing where I set the item down in repitier with out luck. The case should fit with about 15 mm between it and the edge of the glass bed. It keeps coming off the rear near the y endstop edge right over the Y drive motor. Should I s

Don't trust laser thermos, use a Multimeter with a thermistor. What type of plastic is that? ABS or PLA? PLA should print with a nozzle temp about 180 and should stick fine to a 60 degree bed. However ABS will need about 210 at the nozzle to print and a bed of 100. Do you by any chance have a fan blowing on the print/or bed? Some hotend fans end up hitting the bed leading to warping/loose prints.

I have no clue what is going on with this. I have ran PID autotune, I have checked bed temp with my multimeter, I have tried printing inside an encloser.I have tried abs slurry, hair spray, and glue stick all my prints pop free once the temp drops to about 100 (ABS). The bed heats up to 110 or 115 then just slowly decays but after awhile it builds back up. I have tried letting bed pre-heat for lo

I am in Medina ohio halfway from Cleveland to Akron. I have a functional Prusa I3 and I am building a Kossel mini from scratch. Willing to help print parts for others (you provide filament and maybe a beer or two).

I am trying to find a place to purchase the drop in quarter turn slot nuts and the slide in T nuts for 2020 extruded aluminum. I have had no luck so far. I am held up on my kossel build while I find these!!! Anyone have a work around?
Looks like square nuts will work and Sears had them.

I live in Medina Ohio (which is halfway between Cleveland and Akron) I have been loking for a 3d printers club, group, meeting. Is there any in this area? I have a Prusa I3 and I am building a smoothie powered delta. Is anyone still active?

I rebuilt my z-axis now I have this issue with my cube test prints a little sagging on top extruder steps? though I have my extruder tuned for 100 mm (getting 99.98). and that blob on the one corner is where the nozzle goes up to the next Z level retraction maybe?
ABS nozzle 230 bed 110.

So I got my first printer, and decided on the Folgertech prusa i3 aluminum frame. I had issues getting the x axis to move and home correctly. I got help on this forum for that, so thanks all who helped.
I thought all was well until I printed a part that was not symmetricle, and realized that it printed inverted about the x axis.
To me the problem is obvious. The printer homes at

Check your belts are tight and any backlash you can tighten in your axis. Also just curious try sliceing it with cura and see if it looks the same.

I'm partial to Folger tech mostly due to the metal frame acrylic cracks easy when over tightened and can flex messing with the print.
Thanks ! Is there anyother other than tools and fillament that I need to purchase myself for this link? How was the build? Were all the google drive docs sufficient? Would you recommend this kit?

Forgive me if this has been covered yet. I am new to 3d printing and bought one of these folgers i3 2020 kits last week. I have it all together but im having a few issues. Im getting a MINTEMP triggered on the extruder and from what I read there should be 100ohms reading on the thermister. I get that with the heated bed one but I am getting no reading at all with the
